RELEASING OTHERS

RELEASING OTHERS Matthew 18:21-35   Devotional:- "So My heavenly Father also will do to you if each of you, from his heart, does not forgive his brother his trespasses” (V. 35) NKJV Men can easily shout, “Away with him, kill him,” to others because they are not the offender. Very many parents will bitterly discipline their children for an offence they too have committed in the past, for which they were not killed. It is always easy to be a judge, though most judges cannot stand the face of trial. That is why the word of God instructs us not to judge others (Matthew 7:1-6). The scripture we read today reveals the wickedness of men. A man who owed his master so much, just like we all owe God so much. He was forgiven by his master, but cannot forgive his fellow servant. He rather locked him up in police custody for torment. His master heard and also reversed his decision on him for judgement.  Friend, who are the people you have refused to forgive? No matter what they...

ASSURANCE

ASSURANCE

John 2:1-10
Devotional:- “And when they ran out of wine, the mother of Jesus said to Him, “They have no wine”. (V. 3)

Faith is assurance. To be assured is to have a strong supportive notion that confirms that the expected is certain. When people lack assurance, they cannot but doubt. The characteristic of assurance is peace. When a man is assured, he is at rest. Men who have insurance are always confident how much more people with an assurance.

In the scripture we read today, Jesus and His mother attended a marriage party, and suddenly in the middle of the party, the wine finished. It must have been at a time when they could not go out to buy wine so there was much worry by the people who don’t want to be disgraced but the mother of Jesus was assured that Jesus would do something. Can Jesus do something about your matter? Certainly, if you believe (Mark 9:23). So she went and informed Jesus of the situation and there was a miracle.

If you go to Jesus with an assurance there will always be a miracle. The certainty or assurance is produced by our knowledge of Him that we meditate on and He will never fail. It’s your turn to see Him.

Prayer: Lord, increase my faith in you.

“YOUR ASSURANCE WILL ALWAYS BIRTH YOUR CONFIDENCE”
