TIME OF CELEBRATION

TIME OF CELEBRATION  2 Samuel 6:11-23 Devotional:- “Then David danced before the LORD with all his might; and David was wearing a linen ephod” (V. 14) NKJV As much as this season is tagged with much celebration, the enemy often tries to see how he could poison the joy of many people to remove them from the list of people who will celebrate. It will be wisdom for you to know that happiness and sorrow are a choice. I will advise you to choose to rejoice in hope and leave sorrow for the enemy (Romans 5:22). In the scripture we read today, David and all the people were in a mood of celebration because of the advent of the ark of the Lord. But a lady could not see what was worth celebrating, and she took offence at David’s elegant celebration. And she remains barren till her death. Friend, if the coming of the ark of the Lord is sufficient to lose celebration, how much more the coming of Christ, the Son of God. Don’t let the devil push you to sorrow corner in a time like this. ASSURANCE

ASSURANCE

John 2:1-10
Devotional:- “And when they ran out of wine, the mother of Jesus said to Him, “They have no wine”. (V. 3)

Faith is assurance. To be assured is to have a strong supportive notion that confirms that the expected is certain. When people lack assurance, they cannot but doubt. The characteristic of assurance is peace. When a man is assured, he is at rest. Men who have insurance are always confident how much more people with an assurance.

In the scripture we read today, Jesus and His mother attended a marriage party, and suddenly in the middle of the party, the wine finished. It must have been at a time when they could not go out to buy wine so there was much worry by the people who don’t want to be disgraced but the mother of Jesus was assured that Jesus would do something. Can Jesus do something about your matter? Certainly, if you believe (Mark 9:23). So she went and informed Jesus of the situation and there was a miracle.

If you go to Jesus with an assurance there will always be a miracle. The certainty or assurance is produced by our knowledge of Him that we meditate on and He will never fail. It’s your turn to see Him.

Prayer: Lord, increase my faith in you.

“YOUR ASSURANCE WILL ALWAYS BIRTH YOUR CONFIDENCE”
