STRENGTH IN GOD 2 Corinthians 10:1-6 Devotional:- “For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal but mighty in God for pulling down strongholds” (V4) NKJV      Many Christians today have so much confusion about their strength in God. It has made the church think that a few limited people can demonstrate the strength of God. So, multitudes are weak in strength. Though they come to church, yet in times of challenges, you see them rushing to another Christian whom they know to be stronger in God. Neglecting the fact that a New Testament believer is a potential priest and king for Christ (Revelation 5:10; Mark 16:17).

SUBSTANCE OF REALIT

Hebrews 11:1-3
Devotional:- “Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen” (V.1)

 

The body of Christ will need to be careful to understand the core message of the bible which is faith. When it is not in place, nothing good can beaccomplished, even God cannot be pleased. Therefore, it becomes very important and also a foundation for our salvation (Ephesians 2:8).

 

Today, many people try to operate human confidence to experience the manifestation of God but to no avail. A confidence without a sure substance will crumble to failure. True confidence can only come through the revelation of the word of God. No one can assume a state of rest without substantial assurance. You can’t see and not believe. This is a product of the Holy Spirit showing you the reality of the word when you meditate in it (Ephesians 1:17-18). It creates a rest above doubt.

 

Friend, start to read the bible with a heart to receive the substance (revelation) of the word. When you contact the living word, it will create evidence that is substantial in your heart. As you read the scripture and locate the promise, meditate on it. The Holy Spirit will grow a divine confidence in you for your manifestation.

FRUITFULNESS Psalms 128:1-6 Devotional:- Your wife shall be like a fruitful vine In the very heart of your house, Your children like olive plants All around your table” (V.3) NKJV      One of the blessings God pronounced on man at creation is fruitfulness. And today people are beginning to think that fruitlessness is a defect in the creation of man. So, most people are beginning to count it as natural to be fruitless. But we need to ask ourselves if there were defects in God's creation. Why should it be that it is only in human we often find such defects? How many goats or dogs have you found barren? Are we saying the same word of God spoken that brought the creation of all things has failed on the side of humans?  If you accept it as your lifestyle, it is your choice.

ALTERNATIVES II Kings 5:1-15 Devotional:- “Are not the Abanah and the Pharpar, the rivers of Damascus, better than all the waters of Israel? Could I not wash in them and be clean?" So he turned and went away in a rage”. (V12) NKJV      It is always the trick of the devil to make us lose sight of God. So he often makes us see alternatives to God. His own goal is to take people away from God. The enemies so much make his way look easy and quick but with eternal implications. That is why you need to grow your faith and not yield to his tricks. The devil’s alternative will always be with covenants that bind into darkness.
