ENDURANCE

ENDURANCE Genesis 25:27-34 Devotional:- "Look, I'm dying of starvation!" said Esau. "What good is my birthright to me now?” (V.32) NLT      Faith will not yet be possible without endurance. The faith of some people do not produce because they only want it too quickly, and are not willing to wait (Job 14:14). Exploit of faith will not be possible if you will not endure in your current situation. If Jesus had considered the pain of the cross, He would have jumped down and will not enjoy the glory (Hebrews 12:2-3). Our endurance is not to remain in pain forever but to believe that our faith in God will not disappoint us.

TESTIMONY

TESTIMONY

I Samuel 17:30-37
Devotional:- “Your servant has killed both lion and bear; and this uncircumcised Philistine will be like one of them, seeing he has defied the armies of the living God” (V. 36) NKJV

One of the major triggers of faith in our hearts is testimony. Testimony is the sharing of the manifestation of the power of God. The Bible itself is the book of testimonies of the wonderful deeds of God. Anywhere the testimonies of God’s deeds are shared, faith is activated. This is because God is the same yesterday, today, and forever (Hebrews 13:8). He can do again what He has done yesterday. What He has done for Mister ‘A’ He can as well do for Mister ‘B’

The scripture we read today was the occasion that God used to announced David. The Holy Spirit used his testimony to produce a new strength of faith in him. He remembered how God helped him to overcome the lion and the bears that came against him and he concluded that Goliath shall be like one of them.

Friend, always keep the album of your testimonies. Always rejoice at the time of testimony. Whenever you are faced with a challenge, such will be added to your testimony files for faith (Revelation 12:11).

Prayer: Lord, establish your testimony in my life.

“IT IS WHAT YOU FILL YOUR HEART WITH THAT YOU WILL REFLECT ON DURING CHALLENGES”
