LOVE OF GOD

LOVE OF GOD I John 4:7-19 Devotional:- “Dear friends, let us love one another, for love comes from God. Everyone who loves has been born of God and knows God” (V. 7) NIV You can hardly separate these two virtues; they are love and joy. They work together as twin brothers. You cannot love and not be joyful. In this season of joy, one of the things you must give room to for your joy to come is love. If you were not billing to love, you may not see joy. They have the same source; they both come from God (Psalm 16:11, 1 John 4:8) The scripture we read today said, Love comes from God and love is God. This means God cannot be in you and you can still hate. If you do, it is a sign that you are not born of God. You cannot be stealing and cheating, and you say you are a child of God. The bible teaches us how to truly demonstrate love. This is by following the example of God. He demonstrated His own love by giving us His most precious gift, Jesus Christ. CONFESSION

CONFESSION

Hebrews 10:19-24
Devotional:- “Let us hold fast the confession of our hope without wavering, for he who promises is faithful (V.23).

The reason our word is so important to our life is because it is the product of our heart. Our heart is the source of all that will befall us in life (Matthew 12:34). So, since the Holy Spirit birthed faith into our heart whatever comes out of our mouth determines our life (Proverbs 18:21). So, what you say to yourself will surely hold. What people say does not have as much effect as what you say by yourself. Faith is the confession of that which is the good and perfect will of God concerning our lives and situations.

Sometimes our mouth says what our heart does not mean, but faith is through your heart. The scripture we read today said we should hold on to the confession of our hope in God.

Friend, if you have faith in God, if you will see a better tomorrow of yourself, learn to declare it. What you declare has gone ahead of you to become. Don’t forget we are created in the likeness of God. You create by what you say (Genesis 1:3). Start to speak God’s word and it shall surely manifest in your life.

Prayer: Lord, let your word always be in my mouth.

YOUR TOMORROW IS CREATED BY WHAT YOU ARE SAYING TODAY
