DON'T BLAME GOD

DON’T BLAME GOD James 1:12-20 Devotional:- “And remember, when you are being tempted, do not say, "God is tempting me." God is never tempted to do wrong, and he never tempts anyone else” (V. 13) NLT Today, there is so much confusion the enemy places in the heart of men to make them feel that God hate them. So, when people are under the pressure of the flesh to sin, they say “God is tempting me”. When people are weak, they are going to face temptation through their flesh. It wil be wrong to say God is tempting you with sickness or troubles. Yes, God knows about it but He only allows it when we have been warned repeatedly and we refuse to change. He disciplines, but it is necessary for us to know that God is not the author of evil, that is the work of the devil (Hebrews 12:6; Matthew 4:24).  There is a difference between a test and temptation. To test means to examine or observe if someone is capable of doing something. To tempt means to entice or lure someone into doing some...

WHAT IS THE TRUTH?

WHAT IS THE TRUTH?

John 8:31-36
Devotional:- “And you shall know the truth and the truth shall make you free” (V.32)

All that man needs to be free from all bondages of life is the encounter with the truth. The truth is a mystery; a secret of the power of God. All this is hidden in the word of God (Proverbs 25:2). Knowing the truth is like knowing the working power of God. The truth is this; no one handles power and will not attempt to use it. When something is yet to work for you in God, don’t ever think God is a failure. It is only that you do not have the truth about the matter yet (Hosea 4:6).

Knowledge of the truth does not just come by merely reading the bible but by the revelation of the Holy Spirit. Though the truths are all stated in the bible but can only be unfolded with the help of the Holy Spirit (John 16:13; Deuteronomy 29:29). It is the realm of light that produces the strength the shining of men (Isaiah 60:1). When you know the truth your life and destiny will be free. You become master over your enemies (Psalms 119:97-100)

To enjoy this realm of revelation, you need to be thirsty for it. Ask, seek, and knock as you meditate over the word of God (Matthew 7:7). Pray for the help of the Holy Spirit. Then read books written by inspired men of God and you will find liberty from sickness, failure, devil, and all his works. It’s your day

Prayer: Lord, open the secret of your books to me by the Holy Spirit.
