  NOT AN ACCIDENT Isaiah 44:1-5 Devotional:- “Thus says the LORD who made you And formed you from the womb, who will help you: 'Fear not, O Jacob My servant; And you, Jeshurun, whom I have chosen” (V. 2) In discovering the purpose of your creation, it is important that you know that you did not evolve accidentally. You are a product of the conscious plan of God. The word of God says before we were formed in our mother’s womb, He knew us. This means, before you were in the womb of your parent you were first in the womb of the mind of God (Jeremiah1:5) God prescribe every single detail about your life before you were made. You colour, skin, hair or your race. He determines your skills, your uniqueness or your natural talents (Psalm 139:15). Your parent may not have planned your birth but God did. He chose your mother and your father to form the blood group He wants for you. He makes sure that you are raised in the right community and your background. All these things were determined...

THE LORD IS GOOD

Psalm 136:1-10
Devotional:- “Oh, give thanks to the LORD, for He is good! For His mercy endures forever" (V. 1) NKJV

    When you consider how people behave to you, sometimes you will be tempted to conclude that people are not good. The truth is that most people don't live in the love of God and this makes us not to be good to others. This might be as a result of human's limitation. We often over-expect from one another. The person we are expecting from may not be as we have pictured him/her in our mind. Yes, it might be challenging to say that some people are good but the Bible says the Lord is good.

You must accept this truth to enjoy your walk with God. Even though as Christians we go through different seasons for different reasons. Sometimes God may be correcting us in such season and to us it may not look very pleasant (Hebrews 12:6-11). Sometimes God may want to teach us something. Sometimes God may consciously delay some things from coming to us for the sake of right timing.

But in the long run, you will discover that the Lord is good. His goodness makes Him have a good plan for everyone even your family. When you understand that the Lord is good, it will make you appreciate His deed in your life. Then life cannot but start to appreciate you. There is no way our little mind can comprehend His deeds. But the word of God says He is a good God. He will surely make His goodness known to you.

Prayer: Lord, make my life to witness your goodness.

"GOD'S GOODNESS IS THE ONLY HOPE OF OUR GOOD FUTURE"

MASTER’S MINAS Luke 19:11-27 Devotional:- “So he called ten of his servants, delivered to them ten minas, and said to them, 'Do business till I come” (V. 13) NKJV      The word of God instructs us to do business. The Bible did not advise us to do business but it commanded us. That is why it would be wrong for you and me to be without a business. That makes idleness a crime against self (1 Thessalonians 4:11). Business is whatever you are doing to earn income. God will not accommodate idleness with anyone because He invested heavily in us.

COURAGE Joshua 1:1-9 Devotional:- “Have I not commanded you? Be strong and of good courage; do not be afraid, nor be dismayed, for the LORD your God is with you wherever you go” (V. 9) NKJV      A major reason why many people are weak is because their level of courage is so low, that it cannot sustain them through to success. So they easily give up when faced with challenges. There is need for us to understand that there is no action that will not attract a reaction. So the only answer is courage.
