HOW SERVANTS THINK

HOW SERVANTS THINK Numbers 14:11-25 Devotional:- “But My servant Caleb, because he has a different spirit in him and has followed Me fully, I will bring into the land where he went, and his descendants shall inherit it” (V. 24).   To be a servant requires complete mental shift and change in attitude. Before God, attitude count more than achievement (2 Chronicles 25:2). So, when we look at how real servants think, they think more about others than themselves. Humility is not thinking less of ourselves but thinking of ourselves less (Philippians 2:4). Jesus takes the form of a servant (Philippians 2:7). We can measure our servant’s heart by how we respond when others treat us as servants. Real servants think like a steward and not owner. They keep in mind that God owns it all.  To become a real servant you’ve got to settle the issue of money in your life (Luke 16:13). Please understand that money has a great potential to replace God in our heart. When Jesus is your master...

HE REMEMBERS

HE REMEMBERS

Genesis 30:20-24
Devotional:- “Then God remembered Rachel, and God listened to her and opened her womb” (V. 22) NKJV

Sometimes we try to imagine God in our mind but we cannot comprehend the fullness of His splendor. We often look at God as an entity who sits on the throne and some angels fly around Him. But the picture the Bible gives us about God is not just that. If in this world our presidents have offices and numerous departments of ministries, sections of people working with them how much more God.

I believe in heaven there will be something like a minister for communication, and labor. And the like with their ministry. I believe each of these ministries has files for everyone on earth (Revelations 20:12). And there will be a ministry in charge of answering to prayers of God's children with your files and my files. Then at the appointed time, your case is carried out. This is not like the earthly office with human limitations. That is the reason it becomes impossible for God to forget a case.

God's word says, then God remembered Rachel, and her prayers were answered. Your case shall soon be remembered. Sometimes by faith, you can break the heaven protocol. Faith makes God do the unusual (Hebrew 11:5, 1 Samuel 1:17-20). By faith the three Hebrews brought Jesus into the scene before His time (Daniel 3:24). Friend, keep knocking heaven by faith this year. Connect to faith in God by asking Him for direction and obeying Him. You will surely be remembered for good in Jesus' name.

PRAYER: Lord, it is my turn to be remembered.
