  ENVY NO ONE Genesis 37:1-11  Devotional:- “And his brothers envied him, but his father kept the matter in mind.” (V.11) NKJV For a man to enjoy God’s love being wonderfully demonstrated to him, he must constitute a habit of not envying anyone. This is the reason why many cannot demonstrate genuine love to others. It is time you begin to understand that your value is not comparable. Envy is an emotional act people put on when they feel someone is better than them. Envy is always the mother of negative jealousy. It breeds bitterness and pushes people to commit all kinds of crimes. Some people’s reason for being armed robbers is that since they could not make it legitimately, they must go and get it by force from the hands of those who have made it. HE CAN SMELL 

Genesis 8:14-22
Devotional:- “And the LORD smelled a soothing aroma. Then the LORD said in His heart, "I will never again curse the ground for man's sake, although the imagination of man's heart is evil from his youth; nor will I again destroy every living thing as I have done” (V.21) NKJV

    One of the living attributes of God is that He can smell anything. This helps Him to approve and disapprove. This helps Him differentiate things of higher quality from things of lower quality (Genesis 4:4).

After the flood that destroyed the entire people of the earth was subsided, God told Noah and His children to come out of the ark. They came out and they appreciated God for their life. Noah set up an altar and made a sacrifice unto the Lord so that He would remember His covenant. And God smells the sweetness of the sacrifice of Noah. God then made a covenant never to destroy the earth with water anymore.

Do you know that any time you also make a sacrifice unto God either of praise, giving, or service unto the Lord? God always smells the odor of your sacrifices. And by this, He knows whether your sacrifices are of low quality or good quality. That is why you must always give quality praise from the heart, quality offerings, and service to Him. Any time He smells quality sacrifice He will always give a covenant promise. David the king knew how to give quality sacrifices to God. One day David just thought of a sacrifice of building a house for God and God smelled its quality and gave him a covenant of eternal enthronement. Let God smell your sweet sacrifice and you will earn a place in glory

Prayer: Lord, help me to always give quality sacrifices

“GOOD SACRIFICE WILL ALWAYS PROVOKE GOOD BLESSINGS”

MASTER’S MINAS Luke 19:11-27 Devotional:- “So he called ten of his servants, delivered to them ten minas, and said to them, 'Do business till I come” (V. 13) NKJV      The word of God instructs us to do business. The Bible did not advise us to do business but it commanded us. That is why it would be wrong for you and me to be without a business. That makes idleness a crime against self (1 Thessalonians 4:11). Business is whatever you are doing to earn income. God will not accommodate idleness with anyone because He invested heavily in us.

COURAGE Joshua 1:1-9 Devotional:- “Have I not commanded you? Be strong and of good courage; do not be afraid, nor be dismayed, for the LORD your God is with you wherever you go” (V. 9) NKJV      A major reason why many people are weak is because their level of courage is so low, that it cannot sustain them through to success. So they easily give up when faced with challenges. There is need for us to understand that there is no action that will not attract a reaction. So the only answer is courage.
