  GOOD REPORT   Proverbs 15:28-33 Devotional:- “The light of the eyes rejoices the heart, And a good report makes the bones healthy” (v.30) NKJV Today, in the whole world, the only kind of news celebrated by men is bad news. The reporters have also realised that people want bad news. So, they hardly report good things. If you listen to the news, read from the media or browse through the net, it is all about evil things happening all over the world. This is the trick of the enemy to cage the sons of men into sorrow and break the flow of joy in the lives of the people. The scripture we read today says, “good report makes the heart glad”. You must recognise the principle of a joyful life. It is a product of regular joyful reports (Proverbs 25:25). It is what you love to hear that your life will look like (Mark 4:24). you must know you are a product of what you are hearing. HE CAN SMELL 

Genesis 8:14-22
Devotional:- “And the LORD smelled a soothing aroma. Then the LORD said in His heart, "I will never again curse the ground for man's sake, although the imagination of man's heart is evil from his youth; nor will I again destroy every living thing as I have done” (V.21) NKJV

    One of the living attributes of God is that He can smell anything. This helps Him to approve and disapprove. This helps Him differentiate things of higher quality from things of lower quality (Genesis 4:4).

After the flood that destroyed the entire people of the earth was subsided, God told Noah and His children to come out of the ark. They came out and they appreciated God for their life. Noah set up an altar and made a sacrifice unto the Lord so that He would remember His covenant. And God smells the sweetness of the sacrifice of Noah. God then made a covenant never to destroy the earth with water anymore.

Do you know that any time you also make a sacrifice unto God either of praise, giving, or service unto the Lord? God always smells the odor of your sacrifices. And by this, He knows whether your sacrifices are of low quality or good quality. That is why you must always give quality praise from the heart, quality offerings, and service to Him. Any time He smells quality sacrifice He will always give a covenant promise. David the king knew how to give quality sacrifices to God. One day David just thought of a sacrifice of building a house for God and God smelled its quality and gave him a covenant of eternal enthronement. Let God smell your sweet sacrifice and you will earn a place in glory

Prayer: Lord, help me to always give quality sacrifices

“GOOD SACRIFICE WILL ALWAYS PROVOKE GOOD BLESSINGS”

FRUITFULNESS Psalms 128:1-6 Devotional:- Your wife shall be like a fruitful vine In the very heart of your house, Your children like olive plants All around your table” (V.3) NKJV      One of the blessings God pronounced on man at creation is fruitfulness. And today people are beginning to think that fruitlessness is a defect in the creation of man. So, most people are beginning to count it as natural to be fruitless. But we need to ask ourselves if there were defects in God's creation. Why should it be that it is only in human we often find such defects? How many goats or dogs have you found barren? Are we saying the same word of God spoken that brought the creation of all things has failed on the side of humans?  If you accept it as your lifestyle, it is your choice.

COURAGE

COURAGE Joshua 1:1-9 Devotional:- “Have I not commanded you? Be strong and of good courage; do not be afraid, nor be dismayed, for the LORD your God is with you wherever you go” (V. 9) NKJV      A major reason why many people are weak is because their level of courage is so low, that it cannot sustain them through to success. So they easily give up when faced with challenges. There is need for us to understand that there is no action that will not attract a reaction. So the only answer is courage.
