JOY

JOY John 16:16-24  Devotional:- “Most assuredly, I say to you that you will weep and lament, but the world will rejoice; and you will be sorrowful, but your sorrow will be turned into joy.” (V. 20) NKJV God’s word says when sorrow endures till a night, joy comes in the morning (Psalms 30:5). This is an assurance and evidence that what is called sorrow is not a permanent situation in the life of a child of God. This is because it is certain that when a night comes, morning is always the next. The night is evidence of the coming morning. This is evidence that what you are going through right now will soon result in joy. In fact, the tougher it is, the closer the joy. May you see it. The scripture we read today gave us a new dimension of hope in our lives. Jesus said, our sorrow shall turn to joy. That which we think is a thing of sorrow shall suddenly become a thing of joy. Jesus likens it to a woman who is in labour. Women in this state often feel as if the end has come. But ...

GOD OF REUNION

GOD OF REUNION

Genesis 33:1-11
Devotional:- “But Esau ran to meet him, and embraced him and fell on his neck and kissed him, and they wept (V. 4) AMPL

Relationship as it were determines so many things in our live. When there is a broken relationship many things also break. Jacob and his brother parted with great anger. He cunningly claimed his father’s blessing that the father had wanted to give to his brother Esau. The brother became so much embittered that he determined to kill Jacob. When the parents became aware, they agreed to send Jacob away to Laban a relation that is far away, thinking out of sight could be out of mind. When Jacob was leaving the house of Laban though he was blessed yet he had the fear of meeting his brother again. He prayed to God to touch the heart of his brother and God did.

You may also have a challenge, with someone in a relationship. It could be in the house or in the office. The word of God says the control of the heart of king’s is in the hand of God (Proverbs 21:1). Commit their heart to God’s hand; He can touch them for you. Though Jacob was so afraid to meet Esau his brother God had touched his heart: And their meeting was a great reunion.

This God can do the same for you too. No matter how long the relationship has been broken God is a master reunion and unity builder. He will restore love into your midst and there shall be peace and progress again in Jesus name.

Prayer: Lord, restore peace to my broken relationship.

“EVERYONE WITH A HEART IS UNDER THE CONTROL OF GOD”
