WAITING ON THE LORD

WAITING ON THE LORD 2 Samuel 5:1-10 Devotional:- “David was thirty years old when he began to reign, and he reigned forty years” (v.4) NKJV One of the good virtues of God we must always appreciate is His faithfulness. God is not a man that will lie; whatever He has said in His word, He is able to do and He shall do. You can always plug yourself into His promises as much as you work in His covenants. I always tell people never to think God’s word is written only to some specific persons we hear or read about in the Bible. The word of God is the standard practice and programme of God. They were only privileged to be the ones to receive the word at their time, but God is still the same, and so is His word. In claiming the word of God, you must learn to be able to patiently wait. People who will retain their joy must add this virtue to their life (Hebrews 6:12). Our scripture today told us of the installation of David as king, but that was a promise he received from God when he was about 1...

GIFT OF GOD

GIFT OF GOD

Romans 12:3-12
Devotional:- “Having then gifts differing according to the grace that is given to us, let us use them: if prophecy, let us prophesy in proportion to our faith“ (V.6) NKJV

Gifts are God's investment in the life of each one on earth. They are instruments to produce our destiny. They are currency through which we can purchase our future. God's gifts in our lives are instruments of open doors to our greatness. It is by it we excel. These gifts are the ability or potentials God has kept in us for our profit. They are to make us of great value to people. They make each of us a blessing to our generation.

In our scriptures for today God’s word told us to use them. The first thing is that you will need to know that there is a gift God has kept in you for your success in life (1 Corinthians 7:7), It's your responsibility to discover yours. When you have discovered them it's your responsibility to develop yours and start to use them to bless the world. Anything you want in life you can always get if you just help enough other people get what they want.” This you can do with your gifts or talents. You are to serve and work and produce what others need with your gifts. And doors of greatness shall be open on to you (Proverbs 18:16, Proverbs 17:8). It was David’s gift that introduced him to the palace (1 Samuel 16:18- 23). The cheapest way to discover your gift is to get involved in the service of the Lord as a worker in the church. And soon your star will appear like the sun for a bright day.

Prayer: Lord, show me the way to the stardom through my gifts.

“ALL YOU NEED IS A GIFT TO BECOME A GIFT TO YOUR WORLD”.
