A HEART OF BLESSING

A HEART OF BLESSING Matthew 20:20-28 Devotional:- “just as the Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve, and to give His life a ransom for many” (V. 28) NKJV      As believers, the greatest opportunity you can ever have is to be a blessing. When a life is not a blessing, it cannot be fulfilled. The truth is that you are not in this world for yourself. We came here for God and others. If not for others, you would not be needed. So you are only important when others can be affected by your life.

HE ANSWERS

HE ANSWERS

Acts 12:1-11
Devotional:- “Peter was therefore kept in prison, but constant prayer was offered to God for him by the church” (V. 5) NKJV

Prayer is a means through which we communicate our mind to our God. And God is a God that answers prayers. Some gods cannotThey don’t talk, hear or move. But our God does answer prayers. No matter where you may be and no matter how silent your voice may be, yet God answers prayers.

In the scripture we read today, king Herod made himself available to the devil and began to kill the Christian leaders. This he was doing to gain acceptability before the Jews. When the church did not pray he successfully killed James and he kept Peter for the next slaughter. Then the church began to pray. And God sent His angel to release Peter from prison. It was a miraculous event.

Friend, God still answers prayers He said to call upon me and I will answer you and show you great and mighty things that you know not (Jeremiah 33:3). God promises that when we call on Him He will always answer us. Jesus said whatever we ask the Father in His name He will do. Why don't you create time to pray about your challenges by faith in God's grace and mercy? And you will witness His miracle-working power.

Prayer: Lord, give me a heart for prayers.

“THERE IS NO GOD THAT CAN ANSWER LIKE GOD”
