WAITING ON THE LORD

WAITING ON THE LORD 2 Samuel 5:1-10 Devotional:- “David was thirty years old when he began to reign, and he reigned forty years” (v.4) NKJV One of the good virtues of God we must always appreciate is His faithfulness. God is not a man that will lie; whatever He has said in His word, He is able to do and He shall do. You can always plug yourself into His promises as much as you work in His covenants. I always tell people never to think God’s word is written only to some specific persons we hear or read about in the Bible. The word of God is the standard practice and programme of God. They were only privileged to be the ones to receive the word at their time, but God is still the same, and so is His word. In claiming the word of God, you must learn to be able to patiently wait. People who will retain their joy must add this virtue to their life (Hebrews 6:12). Our scripture today told us of the installation of David as king, but that was a promise he received from God when he was about 1...

HE DOES NOT CHANGE

HE DOES NOT CHANGE

Malachi 3:1-6
Devotional:- “For I am the LORD, I do not change; Therefore you are not consumed, O sons of Jacob.” (V. 6) NKJV

We have come to live in a world where all things change all the time. That seems to have even affected our mental view of God. Some people think the God of yesterday is different from that of today. Today we experience so much change in our government that you can count tens of leaders in your state since you were born. The culture we used to have, is fast becoming obsolete because knowledge increases daily. So there are always changes in the education curriculum. Yet, this does not mean what is happening to us is what is happening to God.

The reason for so much change in the world is the discoveries of imperfection. And that is making our development in search of the perfect situation. You need to know that our God is perfect. He has reached the climax of development. God's word says, He is the same yesterday, today, and forever (Hebrews 13:8). No one can dethrone Him, neither can anyone change His laws.

That is why the word of God cannot change. No situation or devil can change the word of God. It is written that you will prosper as your soul prospers (3 John 1:2). The bible says by the stripe of Jesus you are healed (I Peter 2:24). Your matter will surely turn to a testimony (Luke 21:13). The word of God says what is written is written (John 10:35). God’s power to keep and to help has not change. That is why He will keep to His covenant notwithstanding the changing world. Don’t join the people who keep attempting to change the word of God but believe in His word. You will surely shine as stars.

Declaration: Since God’s government cannot change, His word will manifest in my life

“SINCE THE JUDGE DOES NOT CHANGE, THE VERDICT CAN NOT CHANGE"
