TAKE NO OFFENCE Luke 7:18-30 Devotional:- “And blessed is he who is not offended because of Me” (v.23) NKJV   🎙 Victory Daily Devotional TAKE NO OFFENCE Support Us Luke 7:18-30 Remi Agbabiaka Outreach Ministry (RAOM)  |  victorydaily.blogspot.com Sometimes, men easily get offended. That is, they get annoyed and refuse to relate to one another. Many of us have some people we don’t greet now on this account. Some people have taken offence at their parents and relations, and they refused to relate to them. The truth is that if you know the harm you are doing to yourself by so doing, you will give up on this.   In the scripture we read today, John the Baptist was not happy because Jesus did not come to rescue him from prison, and he took offence at Christ. He sent messengers to Jesus to ask if He was the Christ or not. This question see...

HIS COUNSEL STANDS

HIS COUNSEL STANDS

Genesis 45:1-11
Devotional:- “Then Joseph said to his brothers, "I am Joseph; does my father still live?" But his brothers could not answer him, for they were dismayed in his presence” (V. 3) NKJV

Sometimes the enemy feels he can stop the counsel of God, but the Bible says the counsel of God shall stand. That is why you need to stand in faith in God's word and not in your experience on earth.

Joseph was a man of many troubles. The enemy used his brothers’ attitude against him in his family with all determination that his dreams would not come to reality (Genesis 37:18-20). God often reveals to him that he will rule over his brothers. As a child of around sixteen, he was not wise enough to have been telling his brothers about his dreams. And he created enmity for himself in the house. They sold him to slavery for money. Because God's counsel cannot fail, he still become ruler in the land of slavery and his brother at last came there to bow to him. He at last ruled over his brothers.

Friend, don't let the enemy turn you into an instrument against anyone else, you may regret doing so. But you need to know also that God’s counsel about you cannot change. He will surely fulfill His word notwithstanding the effort of the enemy. You will surely rule. Just be sure you remain in the will of God and keep serving Him with all faithfulness. At last, your enemies will bow themselves to you. Soon their children will be at your mercy. This is because the counsel of God will surely come to stand in your life.

Prayer: Lord, help me to remain in your will till I will be lifted by your hand.
