ACKNOWLEDGING HIM

ACKNOWLEDGING HIM Proverbs 3:1-8  Devotional:- “In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths” (v.6) KJV. To be able to enjoy God’s loving kindness, all of us must learn to always acknowledge God in all our decision-making. This simply means that we recognise Him as our owner and the one who is qualified to instruct us on where to turn. When we gave our lives to Christ, we all confessed Jesus as our Lord. This means we acknowledge Him as the one who has the final decision over our lives. But we often forget to carry Him along in making decisions that will, in the end, have a great adverse effect on our lives. If we are to enjoy the love and the goodness of the Lord, we must learn to acknowledge Him. And this is by patiently asking Him for His instructions for us. The truth is that He will always guide us. He said, “I will instruct thee and teach thee in the way which thou shalt go: I will guide thee with mine eye” (Psalms 32:8). The truth is that you are gu...

OWNERSHIP OF GOD

OWNERSHIP OF GOD

Exodus 19:1-10
Devotional:- “Now therefore if you will indeed obey my voice and keep my covenant, then you shall be a special treasure to me above all people for all the earth is mine” (V. 5) NKJV

It is amazing the way some people lay claim to things of this world as if they will never leave them. God created all things before He made man. He created the land, the sea, and all that is in them. It is true that men thus buy landed property and all the documents bear their name. This does not remove the fact that it is still belonging to God. For all men will leave and God will remain the owner at last (Psalm 24:1). So He has only given us for a while.

God was instructing the children of Israel in our scriptures today that if they will obey Him then they shall be special and be the chosen nation before Him because the earth is God’s

It Is therefore expected of you as a child of God to know that whatever you need can always be given to you if you can ask. If only your faith can be strong enough God is enough to do it (Psalm 2:8). There is nothing in this world that God cannot give you if it falls into His divine purpose for you (James 1:17; John 3:27). And when God has blessed you never forget that God is still the owner. That is why you have to serve Him with what you have. And your portion shall be established in God.

Prayer: Lord, deliver my portion on earth to me.
