So, he is the foundation of every good home. We don’t always recognize that a home is like a structure, though God is the architect; but we have the responsibility of building. Before we get married, most people never know that they are coming to build. They always imagine it is already built. No sooner do they get married than they meet with overwhelming responsibilities, and many are scared. You will start building as you begin to adjust to the system. HE FORGIVES

HE FORGIVES

I John 1:5-10
Devotional:- “If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness” (V. 9) KJV

Man in his nature could have some weaknesses. It is the Holy Spirit that helps us out of our weaknesses often. We are not yet perfect but the Spirit of God is perfecting us. In the course of our relating with one another, we often offend each other. And also as we relate with God our imperfections sometimes reflect. The enemy is always looking for every avenue to take advantage of our condemnation. He knows that when men become guilty they become weak. He is happy when a man is weak for him to accuse us before the father.

But we have a God of mercy that always forgives our sins. He is not only forgiving but cleanses so that the traces of the iniquity should never be found in us anymore in His presence. It is a terrible thing to live under the oppression of guilt. It will cripple faith and confidence in achievement. It will breed condemnation and destroy peace.

You therefore need to know that your God is a God that forgives. Get to know that this is the simple truth of the word of God. He is not interested in your trouble and lack of peace (Ezekiel 33:11). Learn to confess your sin to Him. Always admit your wrongs before Him and repent of it. He will faithfully forgive you and forget all about that completely. He only does not like it when men try to cover their sins (Proverbs 28:13). Open up to Him and you will find your peace restored. You will surely find grace for a renewed relationship with God. Peace!

Prayer: Lord, help me to always accept your forgiveness.

“UNTIL A MAN CAN ACCEPT GOD’S FORGIVENESS THE ENEMY WILL ALWAYS REMOVE HIS PEACE”
