That means, it doesn’t respond to just any other thing as you obeying the covenant. In a covenant, each party has a part to play. Since it involves more than one person, where a party have not failed to play his own role, the other party cannot refuse to play his own part.   In the covenant of blessing and prosperity, our part is to give, and God will bless in turn. POWER OF GOD

POWER OF GOD

1 Chronicles 29:10-21
Devotional:- "Both riches and honor come from you, and you reign over all. In your hand is power and might; In your hand, it is to make great and to give strength to all” (V. 12) NKJV

A great virtue of God is power and might. He is the one referred to as the most powerful, the ultimate of power. No one can stand His power. He is also the almighty. All might belong to Him. Power talks about generating energy and might talk about the demonstration of energy. God is the climax of the two.

When David the king knew that his time on earth was finishing, he started winding up. He knew that he had an uncompleted project, which was the building of the temple of God. He also knew that the one God had chosen to be king after him was so young and tender. So he prayed that the Almighty God should come to the aid of Solomon both to build and to reign successfully. And God answered this prayer.

If you also ask Him to step into your situation He will. God is more than able. All power and might belong to Him. Riches and honor are great in God's hands. There is no power nor might that can wait for Him. In His presence mountain melts like wax (Psalms 97:5). Mount Sinai quakes when the great and mighty God comes on it (Exodus 19:16-20). If you will call on Him today your enemy will flee. And your victory shall be established.

Prayer: Lord, demonstrate your might over the forces that are against me.
