SERVING WITH JOY Deuteronomy 28:47-52 Devotional:- “Because you did not serve the LORD your God with joy and gladness of heart, for the abundance of everything” (V.47) NKJV A greater percentage of people do not know what stops their glory. They just suddenly discover that things just stop working out for them. In their ignorance, they accuse God and the devil for their predicament. You need to know from now that one of the things responsible is when people don’t serve with joy. People are always in haste to expect reward for their service. When it looks delayed, they begin to serve with grudges in their mind. God told the Israelites that if they did not serve God with a joyful heart, they would serve their enemy. This is actually too grievous, but men are also not always understanding. Something in us always looks so high that we don’t see what the Lord is doing, but we will always see what he has not done. KEEPING COVENANT

Psalm 89:20-36
Devotional:- “My covenant will not break, nor alter the thing that is gone out of my lips” (v.34) KJV

    Often we wait to receive the promise of God’s word but we don’t often understand that this will be only when we obey his instructions. So most people easily get wearied and divert their approach to solving their problem. But I need to let you know that God is a covenant-keeping God. When He promises, His word cannot fail.

If we learn from the patriarchs, many of them went through so many challenges. But God fulfilled His covenant of victory and success in their life. Even though Abraham waited for God's word, God's covenant was fulfilled in His life – So also Isaac and Jacob.

Today in our scripture God was confirming to the house of David that He would keep His word. He has promised never to remove His mercy from His Family and children and to give Him eternal throne. To this God has been found faithful.

Learn to hold unto God's word when He gives you any promise. He will surely fulfill it. He is not a man that will lie. His words are yea and amen. You will surely see the salvation of the Lord and your success shall be handed over to you. Only be sure that you put your trust in Him. He will surely restore your glory and strengthen you to make it. And your case shall turn to a testimony in Jesus name.

Prayer: Lord, fulfill your word concerning my situation.

FRUITFULNESS Psalms 128:1-6 Devotional:- Your wife shall be like a fruitful vine In the very heart of your house, Your children like olive plants All around your table” (V.3) NKJV      One of the blessings God pronounced on man at creation is fruitfulness. And today people are beginning to think that fruitlessness is a defect in the creation of man. So, most people are beginning to count it as natural to be fruitless. But we need to ask ourselves if there were defects in God's creation. Why should it be that it is only in human we often find such defects? How many goats or dogs have you found barren? Are we saying the same word of God spoken that brought the creation of all things has failed on the side of humans?  If you accept it as your lifestyle, it is your choice.

FOLLOWING CHRIST                   Luke 14:25-33 Devotional Verse:- "If anyone comes to Me and does not hate his father and mother, wife and children, brothers and sisters, yes, and his own life also, he cannot be My disciple” (Vs. 26)      God has enthroned Jesus as King of kings and the Lord of lords (Revelation 17:14). Jesus earned this office by becoming the sacrificial Lamb of God for the salvation and redemption of man (Phil. 2:7-11). Therefore, every citizen of the kingdom of God must be followers and disciples of Jesus.
