STRENGTH IN GOD

STRENGTH IN GOD 2 Corinthians 10:1-6 Devotional:- “For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal but mighty in God for pulling down strongholds” (V4) NKJV      Many Christians today have so much confusion about their strength in God. It has made the church think that a few limited people can demonstrate the strength of God. So, multitudes are weak in strength. Though they come to church, yet in times of challenges, you see them rushing to another Christian whom they know to be stronger in God. Neglecting the fact that a New Testament believer is a potential priest and king for Christ (Revelation 5:10; Mark 16:17).

SEED AND HARVEST

SEED AND HARVEST

Scripture: Genesis 8:20-22
Devotional:- “While the earth remains, Seedtime and harvest, Cold and heat, Winter and summer, And day and night Shall not cease" (V 22) NKJV

To become a success demands that we cultivate a lifestyle of sacrifices. It is our seed life that determines our harvesting life. The word of God says “what we sow is what we shall reap” (Galatians 6:7). All we have in life is direct proportion with what we sow. So, to get more in life, we must be willing to sow more.

A man cannot be fruitful if he is not seedfull. It is our seeds that guarantees our future (Genesis 1:29). Our words are seeds, our actions and reactions are seeds. Our attitude of kindness, forgiving, faithfulness, loyalty etc are seeds for our harvest. More than all, our thoughts are seeds (Proverbs 23:7). We must always remember that our investment is the key to our harvest in life. So, a wise man will carry a seed with a harvest mentality.

When we have experiences of what are not pleasant, we need to recall to heart the seed we have sowed. That is what is called course and effect. All actions are seed and harvest. That is why your mind should always be mindful of seed and honest so that you are more careful. God will give you more beautiful harvest in Jesus name. Peace.

PRAYER: Lord, make me a faithful Sower.

“IT IS SOWING THAT PREDICTS HARVEST”
