  SETBACK Genesis 39:10-21 Devotional:- “Then Joseph's master took him and put him into the prison, a place where the king's prisoners were confined. And he was there in the prison” (v.20) NKJV Most people do not yet understand that what we call a setback, a lot of time is a set-up to set us to our top. Setback, as viewed by people, is demotion, but it is rather an opportunity to retreat and re-fire for greater victory. When the purpose of a thing is not known, men are bound to abuse it. Today, we read about Joseph, who was thanking God for being promoted from a slave to a house overseer. He always tried to put his best into his assignment, and by this, he always had joy. At this time, the enemy wanted to damage his testimony by the temptation of sin, but he stood his ground for God (2 Timothy 2:22). But then he faced something like a demotion to prison. BE PATIENCE 

Scripture: Hebrews 6:7-12
Devotional: - that you do not become sluggish, but imitate those who through faith and patience inherit the promises” (v. 12) NKJV

 

      In the school of success, there are so many things to learn. He that want to be successful must be ready to face it. Learning is building yourself to be capable to become a success. Everything you are able to do, you learn them one way or the other. Everything you learn takes time to become part of you. So, you need to be patience (Luke 21:19).

 

Remember, what you have or will have, you will have to produce. Your success cannot be more than you, so there is a strong need to patiently build up to succeed. What you don't have, you can't give (Matthew 12:33). Everything you have, came from the inside of you. To have something better you are the one to be better (Matthew 12:35).

 

You must give yourself to learning wisdom i.e., how to achieve, you must learn goal setting mechanism. You must learn the act of faith and courage far achievement. You must learn the act of confronting situations. You must learn how to be tough in tough time. You must learn to become focus to succeed. You must also learn how to manage success to increase. The grace of God will be sufficient for you in Jesus name. Peace.

 

PRAYER: Lord, make me a good student of success.

FRUITFULNESS Psalms 128:1-6 Devotional:- Your wife shall be like a fruitful vine In the very heart of your house, Your children like olive plants All around your table” (V.3) NKJV      One of the blessings God pronounced on man at creation is fruitfulness. And today people are beginning to think that fruitlessness is a defect in the creation of man. So, most people are beginning to count it as natural to be fruitless. But we need to ask ourselves if there were defects in God's creation. Why should it be that it is only in human we often find such defects? How many goats or dogs have you found barren? Are we saying the same word of God spoken that brought the creation of all things has failed on the side of humans?  If you accept it as your lifestyle, it is your choice.

COURAGE Joshua 1:1-9 Devotional:- “Have I not commanded you? Be strong and of good courage; do not be afraid, nor be dismayed, for the LORD your God is with you wherever you go” (V. 9) NKJV      A major reason why many people are weak is because their level of courage is so low, that it cannot sustain them through to success. So they easily give up when faced with challenges. There is need for us to understand that there is no action that will not attract a reaction. So the only answer is courage.
