  MAKING GOD HAPPY Numbers 6:22-27 Devotional:- “May the LORD smile on you and be gracious to you” (V. 25 NLT) One of the goals of our life is to make God happy. This is because the goal of worship is to make God happy. A man can make God happy when he pleases the Lord in all His ways. Job was a man who pleases the Lord in his life time (Job 1:8). Noah was another man who also pleased God in his generation (Genesis 6:8). We are living for the glory of God when we live to make God happy by pleasing the Him. To make God happy, we must love Him supremely (Luke 14:26). No one loved us as God does. He knows what no one knows about us that is why we must love Him more than ALL. It is possible to love God supremely when we relate closely with Him (Hosea 6:6; Matthew 22:37-38; Genesis 6:9). To make God happy, we must learn to trust Him completely. BE PATIENCE 

Scripture: Hebrews 6:7-12
Devotional: - that you do not become sluggish, but imitate those who through faith and patience inherit the promises” (v. 12) NKJV

 

      In the school of success, there are so many things to learn. He that want to be successful must be ready to face it. Learning is building yourself to be capable to become a success. Everything you are able to do, you learn them one way or the other. Everything you learn takes time to become part of you. So, you need to be patience (Luke 21:19).

 

Remember, what you have or will have, you will have to produce. Your success cannot be more than you, so there is a strong need to patiently build up to succeed. What you don't have, you can't give (Matthew 12:33). Everything you have, came from the inside of you. To have something better you are the one to be better (Matthew 12:35).

 

You must give yourself to learning wisdom i.e., how to achieve, you must learn goal setting mechanism. You must learn the act of faith and courage far achievement. You must learn the act of confronting situations. You must learn how to be tough in tough time. You must learn to become focus to succeed. You must also learn how to manage success to increase. The grace of God will be sufficient for you in Jesus name. Peace.

 

PRAYER: Lord, make me a good student of success.

MASTER’S MINAS Luke 19:11-27 Devotional:- “So he called ten of his servants, delivered to them ten minas, and said to them, 'Do business till I come” (V. 13) NKJV      The word of God instructs us to do business. The Bible did not advise us to do business but it commanded us. That is why it would be wrong for you and me to be without a business. That makes idleness a crime against self (1 Thessalonians 4:11). Business is whatever you are doing to earn income. God will not accommodate idleness with anyone because He invested heavily in us.

COURAGE Joshua 1:1-9 Devotional:- “Have I not commanded you? Be strong and of good courage; do not be afraid, nor be dismayed, for the LORD your God is with you wherever you go” (V. 9) NKJV      A major reason why many people are weak is because their level of courage is so low, that it cannot sustain them through to success. So they easily give up when faced with challenges. There is need for us to understand that there is no action that will not attract a reaction. So the only answer is courage.
