Most people cannot see God’s-given opportunities around them because they are proud. But the meek will receive understanding from the Lord (Psalms 119:130). Meekness is the attitude of people who do not over size themselves by deception (Proverbs 13:7). They sincerely accept their place and take the challenges of growth (Psalms 147:6). Such don’t brag about their achievements. Meekness is humility with wisdom. It is acting only on what God instructs...

SETTING GOALS FOR ACHIEVEMENTS

Devotional:- “Thus Solomon finished the house of the LORD and the king's house; and Solomon successfully accomplished all that came into his heart to make in the house of the LORD and in his own house” (v.11) NKJV

    There is a power in every man that rises to succeed or achieve a desire and that power is ignited by setting of goals. If you don't set a goal, you are only aiming at achieving something that will be left for chances and it will likely fail. So, goal setting awakes the energy of responsibility in us to pursue till we achieve our goals. Setting goals makes you have a plan or a lineup of activities to run through to success. Therefore, for a man to become a success, you must cultivate the habit of setting goals.

Goal setting must become your habit and habit are what we developed when we practice something repeatedly. To set goal, you must learn to define your destination. As soon as your destination is defined and clear enough, you will see clearly the steps that are necessary to take you to your goals.

Then you have to discipline yourself to take the steps. Be careful of your needs, they are capable of telling you, that is not what you need. But even your needs are to be set as goals and you can achieve them.

The truth about goal setting is that, just as you can achieve the small one, you can also achieve the bigger one. Going to your office at a specific time is a goal and you can easily achieve it. The same thing with a goal to build a great industry, you can also easily achieve it. It's a new day. Peace.

PRAYER: Lord, teach me to be an achiever

The Bible did not advise us to do business but it commanded us. That is why it would be wrong for you and me to be without a business. That makes idleness a crime against self (1 Thessalonians 4:11). Business is whatever you are doing to earn income. God will not accommodate idleness with anyone because He invested heavily in us.

So many always agree with this deceptive thought, which leads to their frustrations. The enemy makes them look at situations around them as evidence of his words. So, many people easily agree with the devil and become victims of his deceit.
