We open to God bit by bit. Discipleship is the process of conforming to Christ (Romans 12:2, Ephesians 4:13). The truth is that the journey to Christ-likeness is a life time journey. Growth involves believing, belonging (through fellowship) and becoming (through discipleship). Every day God want you to become a little more like Him (Colossians 3:10) Today we are interested in speed but God is interested in strength and stability than swiftness (2 Corinthians 3:18). The reason it takes time to grow is because we are slow learner. We often have to relearn a lesson forth or fifty times to reall...

SETTING GOALS FOR ACHIEVEMENTS

Devotional:- “Thus Solomon finished the house of the LORD and the king's house; and Solomon successfully accomplished all that came into his heart to make in the house of the LORD and in his own house” (v.11) NKJV

    There is a power in every man that rises to succeed or achieve a desire and that power is ignited by setting of goals. If you don't set a goal, you are only aiming at achieving something that will be left for chances and it will likely fail. So, goal setting awakes the energy of responsibility in us to pursue till we achieve our goals. Setting goals makes you have a plan or a lineup of activities to run through to success. Therefore, for a man to become a success, you must cultivate the habit of setting goals.

Goal setting must become your habit and habit are what we developed when we practice something repeatedly. To set goal, you must learn to define your destination. As soon as your destination is defined and clear enough, you will see clearly the steps that are necessary to take you to your goals.

Then you have to discipline yourself to take the steps. Be careful of your needs, they are capable of telling you, that is not what you need. But even your needs are to be set as goals and you can achieve them.

The truth about goal setting is that, just as you can achieve the small one, you can also achieve the bigger one. Going to your office at a specific time is a goal and you can easily achieve it. The same thing with a goal to build a great industry, you can also easily achieve it. It's a new day. Peace.

PRAYER: Lord, teach me to be an achiever

MASTER’S MINAS Luke 19:11-27 Devotional:- “So he called ten of his servants, delivered to them ten minas, and said to them, 'Do business till I come” (V. 13) NKJV      The word of God instructs us to do business. The Bible did not advise us to do business but it commanded us. That is why it would be wrong for you and me to be without a business. That makes idleness a crime against self (1 Thessalonians 4:11). Business is whatever you are doing to earn income. God will not accommodate idleness with anyone because He invested heavily in us.

Be strong and of good courage; do not be afraid, nor be dismayed, for the LORD your God is with you wherever you go” (V. 9) NKJV      A major reason why many people are weak is because their level of courage is so low, that it cannot sustain them through to success. So they easily give up when faced with challenges. There is need for us to understand that there is no action that will not attract a reaction. So the only answer is courage.
