NOT AUTOMATIC Philippians.1:1-11 Devotional:- “And I am certain that God, who began the good work within you, will continue his work until it is finally finished on the day when Christ Jesus returns” (V.6 NLT) Knowing fully well that spiritual growth is one of your purpose of been on the earth, then you also need to know that developing Christ-like character takes years, it is not automatic. We open to God bit by bit. Discipleship is the process of conforming to Christ (Romans 12:2, Ephesians 4:13). The truth is that the journey to Christ-likeness is a life time journey. Growth involves believing, belonging (through fellowship) and becoming (through discipleship). Every day God want you to become a little more like Him (Colossians 3:10) Today we are interested in speed but God is interested in strength and stability than swiftness (2 Corinthians 3:18). The reason it takes time to grow is because we are slow learner. We often have to relearn a lesson forth or fifty times to reall...

DISCOVER YOURSELF

DISCOVER YOURSELF

Scripture: John 1:19-28
Devotional:- He said: "I am 'The voice of one crying in the wilderness: "Make straight the way of the LORD,"' as the prophet Isaiah said."  (V.23) NKJV

In the school of success, self-discovery is a major factor. This has to do with understanding your composition. It has to do with understanding your strength, your area of grace and the very area you are best to fit-in in life. No one is made to succeed in all things but each one is wired to be the best in some area.

Just like a round object may struggle to enter a square hole, so also life will be a struggle when one does not discover self. This has nothing to do with age. Until man discover himself, he will not be himself. He will only stumble into success once a while and his life will not be predictable. Devil cannot stop your success; he can only deceive you away from knowing your strength. Your strength to succeed is so wired into you that you can never finish using it in your life time. That is why all men should succeed

To discover yourself is to discover your strength and weakness. What you are easily driven towards, what put you on and what put you off. What set you ablaze and what water you down. Discovering yourself includes your method of achieving somethings. I call it your pattern. Discover tour temperament and your strong passion. This is possible when you realize you are special and peculiar (Psalms 139:13-14). Ask for the help of Holy Spirit and your eyes will be open. Peace.

PRAYER: Holy Spirit reveal myself to me
