  TIME OF CELEBRATION  2 Samuel 6:11-23 Devotional:- “Then David danced before the LORD with all his might; and David was wearing a linen ephod” (V. 14) NKJV As much as this season is tagged with much celebration, the enemy often tries to see how he could poison the joy of many people to remove them from the list of people who will celebrate. It will be wisdom for you to know that happiness and sorrow are a choice. I will advise you to choose to rejoice in hope and leave sorrow for the enemy (Romans 5:22). In the scripture we read today, David and all the people were in a mood of celebration because of the advent of the ark of the Lord. But a lady could not see what was worth celebrating, and she took offence at David’s elegant celebration. And she remains barren till her death. Friend, if the coming of the ark of the Lord is sufficient to lose celebration, how much more the coming of Christ, the Son of God. Don’t let the devil push you to sorrow corner in a time like this. GRATITUDE

GRATITUDE 

Devotional:-“in everything give thanks; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you” (V 18) NKJV

    Gratitude is a singular factor that will always separate a person of success from failure. Gratitude is not just appreciation; it is a spirit of wisdom. When it is found in anyone, it makes them happy, healthy and successful on the long run. People who don't have this grace usually end up frustrated and losing all round.

The spirit of gratitude makes a man to appreciate his level per time. It makes him humble to accept the reality of his level and take responsibility to growing a new level. The spirit of maturity will make a man to live long in other to enjoy the fruits of his labour. Only grateful people are patience. They are not desperate. They are strong in faith to wait and see their change come.

To be possessed by this spirit, you need to realize God’s love and care for you. You will need to see the goodness of God in all you are going through. You need to see more of his goodness than your challenges. Counting your blessings more than your woes. This is when your heart will truly be grateful and it will lead to the way of success. God is good in all little things as in big. Peace.

PRAYER: Lord, give me a grateful heart.

MASTER’S MINAS Luke 19:11-27 Devotional:- “So he called ten of his servants, delivered to them ten minas, and said to them, 'Do business till I come” (V. 13) NKJV      The word of God instructs us to do business. The Bible did not advise us to do business but it commanded us. That is why it would be wrong for you and me to be without a business. That makes idleness a crime against self (1 Thessalonians 4:11). Business is whatever you are doing to earn income. God will not accommodate idleness with anyone because He invested heavily in us.

FRUITFULNESS Psalms 128:1-6 Devotional:- Your wife shall be like a fruitful vine In the very heart of your house, Your children like olive plants All around your table” (V.3) NKJV      One of the blessings God pronounced on man at creation is fruitfulness. And today people are beginning to think that fruitlessness is a defect in the creation of man. So, most people are beginning to count it as natural to be fruitless. But we need to ask ourselves if there were defects in God's creation. Why should it be that it is only in human we often find such defects? How many goats or dogs have you found barren? Are we saying the same word of God spoken that brought the creation of all things has failed on the side of humans?  If you accept it as your lifestyle, it is your choice.
