  PALMS OF HIS HAND Isaiah 49:14-20  Devotional:- “See, I have inscribed you on the palms of My hands; Your walls are continually before Me.” (V.16) NKJV Sometimes in the course of the journey of life, we look at ourselves and ask questions. Who created me? Why am I created? Such times make life look not worth living; ungodly men at such times could consider death as a better option than living. When they see others laughing, they ask, what is making them laugh? Friend, Your laughter will soon come. Do you know that you are a special creature of God? The scripture we read today said you are inscribed in the palms of God’s hand. That means he loves you and is not willing to forget you. In Isaiah 49:15, He said, others could forget you, but He will not. When a man is in love with a woman, they take the pictures of each other all around in their books, bags and even in their bible. They look at the picture and have a feeling of love. They are never ashamed to show it to others....

OBEDIENCE TO GOD

Scripture: Isaiah 48:16-22
Devotional:- "Thus says the LORD, your Redeemer, The Holy One of Israel: "I am the LORD your God, Who teaches you to profit, Who leads you by the way you should go” (V 17) NKJV

    As we aspire to succeed in life, we need to know that there is a spiritual direction to our lives. This is because we are a spirit man. We are made like God and God is a spirit. He who neglect his spirit will end up governed by a wrong spirit to a terrible end. Obedience to God is being guided by the Spirit.

Obedience to God has to do with our recognizing the importance of God in guiding us to our success (Psalm 23:1). These takes us to the need of we allowing the Spirit of God to govern our spirit. By this, we will live in the fear of God and cultivate our mind to obey what the word of God is saying. The Spirit of God will always lead us to love, to bless and for our favour.

For us to be led by the Lord to our blessings, we need to always acknowledge the Holy Spirit in us (Proverbs 3:5-6). We need to always worship God and pray to him from our heart. We need to regularly meditate on the word of God (Joshua 1:8). That is when our actions can be guided by the Lord. Knowing Bible is not enough, but drinking into the spirit of the word of God. This is what helps us to be able to obey the Lord whenever we are instructed. Peace.

PRAYER: Lord, help me to keep a close relationship with you.

“OBEDIENCE BUILT ON THE WISDOM OF GOD WILL STAND FOREVER”

MASTER’S MINAS Luke 19:11-27 Devotional:- “So he called ten of his servants, delivered to them ten minas, and said to them, 'Do business till I come” (V. 13) NKJV      The word of God instructs us to do business. The Bible did not advise us to do business but it commanded us. That is why it would be wrong for you and me to be without a business. That makes idleness a crime against self (1 Thessalonians 4:11). Business is whatever you are doing to earn income. God will not accommodate idleness with anyone because He invested heavily in us.

COURAGE Joshua 1:1-9 Devotional:- “Have I not commanded you? Be strong and of good courage; do not be afraid, nor be dismayed, for the LORD your God is with you wherever you go” (V. 9) NKJV      A major reason why many people are weak is because their level of courage is so low, that it cannot sustain them through to success. So they easily give up when faced with challenges. There is need for us to understand that there is no action that will not attract a reaction. So the only answer is courage.
