  HOW REAL SERVANTS ACT Mark 10:35-45 Devotional:- “Yet it shall not be so among you; but whoever desires to become great among you shall be your servant” (V. 43).   The world defines greatness in terms of power, possessions, prestige and position but God determined your greatness by how many people you serve. This is quite contrary to the world view. Jesus called Himself servant and to be like Him is to be a servant. That is why it is so important to have a servant’s heart. God often test our heart by asking us to serve even outside our shape or area of interest. Your priority area of service should be in your area of shape, but God could demand for your service wherever needed. Looking at how a servant act is important because one could serve in a church for years and not be a real servant. Real servants make themselves available to serve. PERSONAL PATTERN            

Scripture: Judges 16:15-20
Devotional:- And she said, "The Philistines are upon you, Samson!" So he awoke from his sleep, and said, "I will go out as before, at other times, and shake myself free!" But he did not know that the LORD had departed from him (V.20) NKJV

    God in his wonderful way has made each one on the earth so wonderful. Do you know that God made each of us with a particular pattern of doing things that brings result? This personal pattern in our life is our area of anointing with grace. When it comes to what you do, there is a way you do it that makes it work. This is part of what you should discover about yourself. It is your personal pattern, secret, or call it trade secret (Deuteronomy 29:29).

The word of God says “Samson rose and shook himself as he used to do, but it did not know that the Lord has departed (Judges 16:20). He has a way he used to shake himself to activate the anointing. The same way everyone needs to discover and study what they do that make things work for them. It looks like a pattern for your success.

When your pattern to life is discover and developed, you then become better in achievement through it. This pattern of life is by the Spirit of God. When you are connected with God, it works. It is the grace of God in your life. You need to prayerfully recognize and jealously keep it. It is your pattern of result and achievements. Peace.

PRAYER: Lord, help me not to lose your grace over my life.

MASTER’S MINAS Luke 19:11-27 Devotional:- “So he called ten of his servants, delivered to them ten minas, and said to them, 'Do business till I come” (V. 13) NKJV      The word of God instructs us to do business. The Bible did not advise us to do business but it commanded us. That is why it would be wrong for you and me to be without a business. That makes idleness a crime against self (1 Thessalonians 4:11). Business is whatever you are doing to earn income. God will not accommodate idleness with anyone because He invested heavily in us.

Be strong and of good courage; do not be afraid, nor be dismayed, for the LORD your God is with you wherever you go” (V. 9) NKJV      A major reason why many people are weak is because their level of courage is so low, that it cannot sustain them through to success. So they easily give up when faced with challenges. There is need for us to understand that there is no action that will not attract a reaction. So the only answer is courage.
