  SUBMIT TO HIM John 14:12-24  “Jesus answered and said to him, "If anyone loves Me, he will keep My word; and My Father will love him, and We will come to him and make Our home with him.” (V. 23) NKJV   Sometimes on the platform of love, there is nothing men cannot offer to one another. If you truly love a man you will not want to reject or disobey him. You will want to do as much as it is in your capacity. You will not want to turn him down. Can you imagine how strictly you want to keep to an appointment with a loved one? If we have attached so much importance to responding to our lover, how much more God. If you truly love God it will be natural for you to submit to His will. You will not need to argue or ask too many questions. It will be a pleasure submitting to His will. Jesus said in the scripture we read today, if anyone loves me he will keep my words. In other word he will submit or obey my word. Scripture: 1King 19:19-21
Devotional:-  “So Elisha turned back from him, and took a yoke of oxen and slaughtered them and boiled their flesh, using the oxen's equipment, and gave it to the people, and they ate. Then he arose and followed Elijah, and became his servant” (V. 21) NKJV

    In the school of success, getting a coach or a mentor is vital. We can easily study principles but application is not as easy. This is because in the course of application we are met with challenges that the book of principal does not foresee. Or our personal approach could hinder effective result in application of knowledge. Yes, on the long run, we could get it right with time but what should have cost us six months to get could us even ten years. This is the advantage of a mentor.

Elisha submitted himself under the tutelage of Elijah. This made him turn out to be greater than his master. This is the beauty of mentoring.

I like to encourage you also to identify a mentor. This is someone you feel he or she is doing more exploits. It demands that you submit yourself to learn. Be open enough to interact. Have a goal of what to learn and grow. Be humble to follow the counsel of your mentor. Please know that you are the one to pursue your mentor. Respect his appointment for you, it is a sacrifice. Express gratitude through gift. You will receive the mantle of greatness. Peace

PRAYER: Lord, connect me to your servant for my greatness.

MASTER’S MINAS Luke 19:11-27 Devotional:- “So he called ten of his servants, delivered to them ten minas, and said to them, 'Do business till I come” (V. 13) NKJV      The word of God instructs us to do business. The Bible did not advise us to do business but it commanded us. That is why it would be wrong for you and me to be without a business. That makes idleness a crime against self (1 Thessalonians 4:11). Business is whatever you are doing to earn income. God will not accommodate idleness with anyone because He invested heavily in us.

COURAGE Joshua 1:1-9 Devotional:- “Have I not commanded you? Be strong and of good courage; do not be afraid, nor be dismayed, for the LORD your God is with you wherever you go” (V. 9) NKJV      A major reason why many people are weak is because their level of courage is so low, that it cannot sustain them through to success. So they easily give up when faced with challenges. There is need for us to understand that there is no action that will not attract a reaction. So the only answer is courage.
