  SETBACK Genesis 39:10-21 Devotional:- “Then Joseph's master took him and put him into the prison, a place where the king's prisoners were confined. And he was there in the prison” (v.20) NKJV Most people do not yet understand that what we call a setback, a lot of time is a set-up to set us to our top. Setback, as viewed by people, is demotion, but it is rather an opportunity to retreat and re-fire for greater victory. When the purpose of a thing is not known, men are bound to abuse it. Today, we read about Joseph, who was thanking God for being promoted from a slave to a house overseer. He always tried to put his best into his assignment, and by this, he always had joy. At this time, the enemy wanted to damage his testimony by the temptation of sin, but he stood his ground for God (2 Timothy 2:22). But then he faced something like a demotion to prison. FINANCIAL SKILL

Scripture: Deuteronomy 8:10-20
Devotional:- "And you shall remember the LORD your God, for it is He who gives you power to get wealth, that He may establish His covenant which He swore to your fathers, as it is this day” (V 18) NKJV

    Another important skill to make a man become a success is the financial skill. This becomes a major affair when people don't have the foundational opportunity to have developed mentally in the area of finances. Some people live with this struggle all their life. Those who are able to overcome it are those who have to learn and develop this skill in the course of the journey of life.

God said “there is a power to get wealth”. One of the definitions of power is ability. In other words, disability is what makes it impossible for a man to make wealth and have financial freedom. This ability is given to us when we allow God to give us a leading and a working idea for our profiting (Isaiah 48:17-18; Psalms 23:1). This ability is given to us when we get involved in making, managing and multiplying money through trading. This ability of God can always lead us to getting wealth but earning is not the end.

In finances, ability to deny self, to have a long-term planning, to achieves a worthwhile goal is key. This then led us to saving skill practices. Strong discipline to budget and adhere strictly to it. Living our size per time and obeying the Lord to sow in other to enjoy more of his blessings. All these are vital. We shall enjoy grace for fruitfulness this year in Jesus name. Peace.

PRAYER: Lord, give me understanding for my financial freedom

“NO FINANCIAL SKILL, NO FUTURE”

FRUITFULNESS Psalms 128:1-6 Devotional:- Your wife shall be like a fruitful vine In the very heart of your house, Your children like olive plants All around your table” (V.3) NKJV      One of the blessings God pronounced on man at creation is fruitfulness. And today people are beginning to think that fruitlessness is a defect in the creation of man. So, most people are beginning to count it as natural to be fruitless. But we need to ask ourselves if there were defects in God's creation. Why should it be that it is only in human we often find such defects? How many goats or dogs have you found barren? Are we saying the same word of God spoken that brought the creation of all things has failed on the side of humans?  If you accept it as your lifestyle, it is your choice.

COURAGE Joshua 1:1-9 Devotional:- “Have I not commanded you? Be strong and of good courage; do not be afraid, nor be dismayed, for the LORD your God is with you wherever you go” (V. 9) NKJV      A major reason why many people are weak is because their level of courage is so low, that it cannot sustain them through to success. So they easily give up when faced with challenges. There is need for us to understand that there is no action that will not attract a reaction. So the only answer is courage.
