HOPING IN GOD

HOPING IN GOD Psalms 71:4-14  Devotional:- “For You are my hope, O Lord GOD; You are my trust from my youth” (V.5) NKJV In today's world, many people are finding it difficult to put their hope in God. This is because they have waited for a few times, which to them is rather too long (Proverbs 13:12). And now they’ve made their calculation that if they have hoped in God for these three years and nothing is coming forth, then what is the need for continuing to hope? It is why many people in civilised nations have been living their lives unwilling to carry God along. We often forget that without Him we can do nothing (John 15:5). Everything we can do or shall do should be by His permission. The most common error among Christians is that we often don’t understand the power of hope or the difference between hope and faith. MENTAL RESPONSIBILITY

MENTAL RESPONSIBILITY

Scripture: Luke 15:11-24
Devotional:- "When he finally came to his senses, he said to himself, 'At home even the hired servants have food enough to spare, and here I am dying of hunger!”  (V. 17) NLT

In this part of the world, a major missing factor in our structure is taking mental responsibility. There is no problem created without a solution, but when people don't take mental responsibility, they will be trapped in their situations. It becomes more challenging now when a whole family or a community have this as a common challenge.

Mental responsibility begins from accepting that every problem has a solution. Mental responsibility is when someone sit down to diagnose the situation both of his life and the one around him. Diagnosing brings us into the root of course of an issue. When the root of an issue is discovered, then the solution becomes visible.

Discovering the solution to a problem is not the solution but applying the discoveries to bring the solution. In the course of solving a problem, one may discover another one. That is why progressing solution in life is a function of mental engagement.

Avoiding mental responsibility makes life a total fructation. The prodigal son simply take mental responsibility and he resolved his problem. Friend, God is leading you out of these problems this year. Sit down to think. Peace.

PRAYER: Lord strengthen me to sit to be able to stand
