  MEEKNESS Numbers 12:1-10 Devotional:- “(Now the man Moses was very humble, more than all men who were on the face of the earth.)” (v.3) NKJV A great virtue that will help a man sustain a life of joy is meekness. This is an act of being gentle and ready to accept instructions and corrections. This is an act of not being willing to struggle with God but to easily submit to His will. Jesus said this kind of people will inherit the earth (Matthew 5:5). This is because they will always be willing to take instruction and correction. Sometimes correction or discipline of love could be harsh or strong, but a meek person has the fortitude to bear it and rejoice at it because he knows that such will always get him better and stronger. The meek are willing to wait to receive the help of God. He is simple when it comes to accepting the will of God. To him, God is always good, which makes him ever thankful and joyful. GOD’S WAY  

Scripture Reading: Isaiah 55: 3-13
Devotional:- "For My thoughts are not your thoughts, Nor are your ways My ways," says the Lord” (V. 8)

    The major task ahead of all children of God is to know the way of God. Only those who know His ways can really enjoy walking with Him. That is why this becomes become the prayer of Apostle Paul (Philippians 3:10). Knowing Him makes us walk with Him without any disappointment.

I am glad to let you know that the covenants of God are His ways of life (Psalms 25: 9-14). You need to know that the way of God is different from the way of man (Isaiah 55:8-9). Those who know the way of God will enjoy His best. The way of God is the word of God and the word of His covenant. Jesus is the word of God, that is why He said “I am the way (John 1:14; John 14:6).

Friend, God do not expect you to remain a child of God but grow to become a son or daughter of God (Galatians 4:1-5). The word of God says He made known His ways to Moses but His act to the children of Israel (Psalms 103:7). This means, the children of Israel only see the miracles but Moses understand how God performed them through him. So, he can repeat them. To know His ways, humble yourself to study His covenant (Psalms 25:9-14). Peace.

PRAYER: Lord, help me to be humble to learn your ways.

FRUITFULNESS Psalms 128:1-6 Devotional:- Your wife shall be like a fruitful vine In the very heart of your house, Your children like olive plants All around your table” (V.3) NKJV      One of the blessings God pronounced on man at creation is fruitfulness. And today people are beginning to think that fruitlessness is a defect in the creation of man. So, most people are beginning to count it as natural to be fruitless. But we need to ask ourselves if there were defects in God's creation. Why should it be that it is only in human we often find such defects? How many goats or dogs have you found barren? Are we saying the same word of God spoken that brought the creation of all things has failed on the side of humans?  If you accept it as your lifestyle, it is your choice.

COURAGE Joshua 1:1-9 Devotional:- “Have I not commanded you? Be strong and of good courage; do not be afraid, nor be dismayed, for the LORD your God is with you wherever you go” (V. 9) NKJV      A major reason why many people are weak is because their level of courage is so low, that it cannot sustain them through to success. So they easily give up when faced with challenges. There is need for us to understand that there is no action that will not attract a reaction. So the only answer is courage.
