CHOICE OF JOY Acts 16:20-30 Devotional:- “But at midnight Paul and Silas were praying and singing hymns to God, and the prisoners were listening to them.” (V.25) NKJV So many people in this world have not woken up to the fact that the way they live is their choice. One of the greatest errors is to think that the situation a man finds himself, is the determining factor of his life. This is not true. Please come to an awareness of this truth from now on: that you are living as you have chosen to live. Get to know that you are a creature of choice. Whatever your choice is, that is your lot. God chooses no evil for anyone in life (Jeremiah 29:11). Whether you are happy or not, whether you are rich or not, whether you are healthy or not, it is your choice; if you decide otherwise from now and stand by your decision, things will change for you. GOD’S WAY  

Scripture Reading: Isaiah 55: 3-13
Devotional:- "For My thoughts are not your thoughts, Nor are your ways My ways," says the Lord” (V. 8)

    The major task ahead of all children of God is to know the way of God. Only those who know His ways can really enjoy walking with Him. That is why this becomes become the prayer of Apostle Paul (Philippians 3:10). Knowing Him makes us walk with Him without any disappointment.

I am glad to let you know that the covenants of God are His ways of life (Psalms 25: 9-14). You need to know that the way of God is different from the way of man (Isaiah 55:8-9). Those who know the way of God will enjoy His best. The way of God is the word of God and the word of His covenant. Jesus is the word of God, that is why He said “I am the way (John 1:14; John 14:6).

Friend, God do not expect you to remain a child of God but grow to become a son or daughter of God (Galatians 4:1-5). The word of God says He made known His ways to Moses but His act to the children of Israel (Psalms 103:7). This means, the children of Israel only see the miracles but Moses understand how God performed them through him. So, he can repeat them. To know His ways, humble yourself to study His covenant (Psalms 25:9-14). Peace.

PRAYER: Lord, help me to be humble to learn your ways.

MASTER’S MINAS Luke 19:11-27 Devotional:- “So he called ten of his servants, delivered to them ten minas, and said to them, 'Do business till I come” (V. 13) NKJV      The word of God instructs us to do business. The Bible did not advise us to do business but it commanded us. That is why it would be wrong for you and me to be without a business. That makes idleness a crime against self (1 Thessalonians 4:11). Business is whatever you are doing to earn income. God will not accommodate idleness with anyone because He invested heavily in us.

COURAGE Joshua 1:1-9 Devotional:- “Have I not commanded you? Be strong and of good courage; do not be afraid, nor be dismayed, for the LORD your God is with you wherever you go” (V. 9) NKJV      A major reason why many people are weak is because their level of courage is so low, that it cannot sustain them through to success. So they easily give up when faced with challenges. There is need for us to understand that there is no action that will not attract a reaction. So the only answer is courage.
