JOY

JOY

Scripture Reading: Psalms 16:1-11
Devotional:- “You will show me the path of life; In Your presence is fullness of joy; At Your right hand are pleasures forevermore” (V. 11) NKJV

Please understand that joy is different from happiness. Joy comes from God and happiness are temporary excitement produced by events or occasion. If you want to live with joy in your heart and in your home. Then, you need to locate the covenant of God for joy.

Remember the word of God which tells us that joy is one of the fruits of the spirit (Galatians 5:22). This is because it is supplied by the spirit of God. The word of God says “where the spirit of the Lord
is, there is that freedom and this produces space for joy (2Corinthians 3:17). Joy is always a manifestation of the presence of God (Psalms 16:11). So, when God is with you, His seed of joy will be produced in your spirit for joy.

Friend, if you want to live with joy, them be a carrier of the presence of God. Wherever His presence is, His joy will be there. In His house and in His heart He dwells. Joy is like the oxygen for God. He cannot do without it. That is why there is no sorrow in heaven. If you therefore love to always have joy, then always be with Him. Peace.

PRAYER: Lord, make me your temple forever

“WHEREVER GOD IS, JOY WILL BE THERE”
