  FACTORS OF GROWTH Deuteronomy 8:1-10 Devotional:- “So He humble you, allow you to hunger, and fed you with manna which you did not know nor did your father’s know, that He might make you know that man shall not live by bread alone but man lives by every word that proceeds from the mouth of the Lord” (V. 3)   Spiritual growth is the process of replacing lives with the truth (John 17:17). To become like Jesus we must fill our lives with his word. (2 Timothy 3:17). The word of God is powerful, so when God speak things change. To be a healthy disciple of Jesus you must feed on the word of God. This is what it mean to abide in Christ and Christ in you. This is by remaining in the word of God and obeying the word. To abide in God’s word you must accept the authority of the word of God (John 8:31). In other words the Bible must become the standard of your life. You must make the word of God the compass for your life. The word must become the counsel you listen to for wise decision ...

PEACE

Scripture Reading: Numbers 25:6-15
Devotional:- “Therefore say, 'Behold, I give to him My covenant of peace” (V. 12) NKJV

    Peace as a virtue is becoming scarce all over the world. This is because men are deceived away from the will of God. As long as people do what they like, peace will be scarce. Peace is an experience of the Spirit of God been in an agreement with our ways. It is like a round object put into a round hole.

The word of God told us of one of the priests of Israel who kill two people fornicating in the camp of the Lord. Because of his Act, God gave him the covenant of peace. Whenever we please God, we will always enjoy the peace of God (Leviticus 26:3-6).

The word of God says if we obey and walk in His will, our peace will be as voluminous as a river (Isaiah 48:18). It is wisdom to keep obeying the Lord. Peace is an evidence of walking in the right part. Obedience is the covenant responsibility for peace in the life of man. I will encourage you to teach this to your children. And our home and nation shall be peaceful. Peace.

PRAYER: Lord, strengthen me to always do your will

MASTER’S MINAS Luke 19:11-27 Devotional:- “So he called ten of his servants, delivered to them ten minas, and said to them, 'Do business till I come” (V. 13) NKJV      The word of God instructs us to do business. The Bible did not advise us to do business but it commanded us. That is why it would be wrong for you and me to be without a business. That makes idleness a crime against self (1 Thessalonians 4:11). Business is whatever you are doing to earn income. God will not accommodate idleness with anyone because He invested heavily in us.

COURAGE Joshua 1:1-9 Devotional:- “Have I not commanded you? Be strong and of good courage; do not be afraid, nor be dismayed, for the LORD your God is with you wherever you go” (V. 9) NKJV      A major reason why many people are weak is because their level of courage is so low, that it cannot sustain them through to success. So they easily give up when faced with challenges. There is need for us to understand that there is no action that will not attract a reaction. So the only answer is courage.
