OUR ROCK

OUR ROCK Psalms 18:1-3 Devotional:- Lord is my rock and my fortress and deliverer…” (V.2) One of the love emblems to us is that He is our rock. He is known as the rock of ages. Because He loves us, He is always there for us. Rock is a symbol of strength and confidence. The cleft of the rock is always a beautiful place of refuge. Water from the rock is always pure and cool. As part of His love for us, He has become our rock (I Corinthians 10:4). He is the rock of our salvation, of our peace and protection. The bird eagle lives on the rock above the reach of the enemy. The water on it is refreshing and clean, far above the reach of the dust. The cave of the rock is always very cool and secure, far above the reach of either the arrow of the enemy or the scourging of the sun. This is who Jesus is for us. We may pass through challenges in this world, but we are sure of our victory because the rock is always there for us. He is our trust. He is our stronghold. He will never reject nor ...

STRENGTH

STRENGTH

Scripture Reading: Isaiah 40:21-31
Devotional:- “But those who wait on the Lord Shall renew their strength; They shall mount up with wings like eagles, They shall run and not be weary, They shall walk and not faint”” (V. 31) NKJV

It is important that you know strength come through your spirit. As muscular a man could be, when the spirit is out of him, he will lie down helpless. Strength is not just mental; it is only processed by the mind. That is why a man could be very intelligent but frustrated and helpless. It is the spirit that gives man strength, the mind processes it by thinking in the intellect decide by the will and carries it out through the emotional drive of the body. So, whenever you feel weak or you really cannot find enough strength to rise to action, the covenant responsibility is to wait on the Lord.

To wait on the Lord is to wait for His instructions or direction. His words are powerful (Hebrews 4:12). It comes with strength for execution (John6:63). This is what is called faith.

We receive His word when we fellowship with Him: in worship and prayers (Acts 13:1-2). His word will come to us when we are praying in the spirit and meditating in His word (1 Corinthians 14:4; Psalms 1:1-3). Wherever His word is, His power is there (Ecclesiastics 8:4). His words transmit His power to man (Ezekiel 2:2). You will not be weak again in Jesus name. Peace.

PRAYER: Lord, help me to always connect to your strength

“IT’S WHEN YOUR SPIRIT IS STRONG THAT YOU ARE STRONG”
