MEEKNESS Numbers 12:1-10 Devotional:- “(Now the man Moses was very humble, more than all men who were on the face of the earth.)” (v.3) NKJV A great virtue that will help a man sustain a life of joy is meekness. This is an act of being gentle and ready to accept instructions and corrections. This is an act of not being willing to struggle with God but to easily submit to His will. Jesus said this kind of people will inherit the earth (Matthew 5:5). This is because they will always be willing to take instruction and correction. Sometimes correction or discipline of love could be harsh or strong, but a meek person has the fortitude to bear it and rejoice at it because he knows that such will always get him better and stronger. The meek are willing to wait to receive the help of God. He is simple when it comes to accepting the will of God. To him, God is always good, which makes him ever thankful and joyful. PRICE FOR VALUE

PRICE FOR VALUE

Scripture Reading: Genesis 22:6-18
Devotional:- “And He said,"Do not lay your hand on the lad, or do anything to him; for now I know that you fear God, since you have not withheld your son, your only son, from Me."” (V. 12) NKJV

Everyone who wants to gain value in this world knows that there is always a price to be paid. In value, it is how much you are willing to put in it that you get out of it. God want man to keep His covenant so that we can value His blessings and goodness.

The word of God says “God tested Abraham by asking him to sacrifice his son (Genesis 22:1-2). It is obedience to these instructions that qualifies Abraham for the establishment of the covenant of God to make Him father of nations. The word of God says “Abraham was willing to sacrifice his son because he knows God is faithful and able to raise the dead (Hebrews 11:17-19).

Friend, intending to receive quality or quantity you are not willing to give may be deceptive (2 Corinthians 9:6). God will always weigh your seed to determine your harvest (Galatians 6:7). Let us therefore wake up to seek and to know our covenant responsibilities and be willing to obey Him for the value we expect. Then, we will start to grow in the blessings of His covenant. Peace.

PRAYER: Lord, set me free from the deceptive spirit that discourages me from obeying you.

“THE MORE YOU OBEY HIM, THE MORE YOUR VALUE IN HIM”.
