HOW SERVANTS THINK

HOW SERVANTS THINK Numbers 14:11-25 Devotional:- “But My servant Caleb, because he has a different spirit in him and has followed Me fully, I will bring into the land where he went, and his descendants shall inherit it” (V. 24).   To be a servant requires complete mental shift and change in attitude. Before God, attitude count more than achievement (2 Chronicles 25:2). So, when we look at how real servants think, they think more about others than themselves. Humility is not thinking less of ourselves but thinking of ourselves less (Philippians 2:4). Jesus takes the form of a servant (Philippians 2:7). We can measure our servant’s heart by how we respond when others treat us as servants. Real servants think like a steward and not owner. They keep in mind that God owns it all.  To become a real servant you’ve got to settle the issue of money in your life (Luke 16:13). Please understand that money has a great potential to replace God in our heart. When Jesus is your master...

NOTHING IS FREE

NOTHING IS FREE

Scripture Reading: Deuteronomy 28:1-14
Devotional:- "Now it shall come to pass, if you diligently obey the voice of the Lord your God, to observe carefully all His commandments which I command you today, that the Lord your God will set you high above all nations of the earth” (V. 1)

You need to know that all the blessings of the word of God are all yours by the blood of the Covenant (Zechariah 9:11). As much as all God’s promises are available to all children of God, please know that they are all attached with condition which is the nature of covenant.

The condition that gives us access to the word of God is our willingness to obey the word of God. That is why all the promises of the word of God start with ‘If’. These conditions are the responsibility you and I must get involved in, before we can key into the blessings. Therefore, the blessings are not without a responsibility.

Someone may think, what is then the essence of the blood of Jesus? Do not forget that our journey with God is not a religion, but a relationship. God did not promise to be our Father Christmas, but our father (2 Corinthians 6:16; Luke 11:2). In every father and son relationship, there is condition of if the children obey their father. Whenever you need anything from your father, check the book of the covenant for your part. Work in His will and God will be faithful to you. Peace.

PRAYER: Lord, help me to be faithful to you for my blessing.

“GOD WILL BE FAITHFUL TO YOU IF YOU ARE FAITHFUL TO HIM”
