MEEKNESS Numbers 12:1-10 Devotional:- “(Now the man Moses was very humble, more than all men who were on the face of the earth.)” (v.3) NKJV A great virtue that will help a man sustain a life of joy is meekness. This is an act of being gentle and ready to accept instructions and corrections. This is an act of not being willing to struggle with God but to easily submit to His will. Jesus said this kind of people will inherit the earth (Matthew 5:5). This is because they will always be willing to take instruction and correction. Sometimes correction or discipline of love could be harsh or strong, but a meek person has the fortitude to bear it and rejoice at it because he knows that such will always get him better and stronger. The meek are willing to wait to receive the help of God. He is simple when it comes to accepting the will of God. To him, God is always good, which makes him ever thankful and joyful. BLESSING AND CURSES

BLESSING AND CURSES

Scripture Reading: Deuteronomy 30:11-20
Devotional:- “I call heaven and earth as witnesses today against you, that I have set before you life and death, blessing and cursing; therefore choose life, that both you and your descendants may live” (V. 19) NKJV

It is important that you understand the God you are relating with in other to enjoy the best of your God. It should therefore be clear to you that your God is a God of covenant. Covenant is an agreement sealed by blood. It always contains the terms of agreement as a strong relationship. It also contains two-coin side blessings and curses.

Since each party has a role to play, when each party is faithful, there are blessing for the faithfulness. But when any of the party defaults, there are curses (Deuteronomy 28:15; Isaiah 1:19-20; Galatians 6:7). This is the major reason why many children of God are not enjoying the blessings of the Lord.

Please remember, that it is the grace of God that gives us access to the father and son relationship we have with God. Grace of God brought us in, but without our obedience, grace will not sustain the relationship (Romans 6:1-2; John 15:14). Friend, find your way back to the word of God. Start to ask for the grace to obey His covenant word. And you will be blessed. You can not obey Him and be disappointed. Peace.

PRAYER: Lord, help me to keep obeying your word for my lifting.

“THE BLESSING OF THE COVENANT IS IN YOUR PART”
