SHARING YOUR FEELING

SHARING YOUR FEELING Hebrews 4:11-16 Devotional:- “For we do not have an high priest who cannot sympathize with our weakness… (V. 15)” It is not always very easy for people to understand us, especially when we pass through challenges and are weak. Even those who want to understand and sympathise could get to a level and turn back. Sometimes, instead of people sympathising with us, they constitute a panel of judges and begin to point accusing fingers at us.  As part of the act of love of Jesus, the scripture we read today says, He sympathises with us in our situation. In other words, He knows exactly what you are going through, both the one you can explain and the one you cannot. He could feel exactly the way you feel. The Bible says, He has suffered as we do. Even if you are struggling with a weakness or a sin, He has also been in the flesh. He knows how painful your feelings are. He cannot reject you, and He identifies with you and still loves you. BLESSING AND CURSES

BLESSING AND CURSES

Scripture Reading: Deuteronomy 30:11-20
Devotional:- “I call heaven and earth as witnesses today against you, that I have set before you life and death, blessing and cursing; therefore choose life, that both you and your descendants may live” (V. 19) NKJV

It is important that you understand the God you are relating with in other to enjoy the best of your God. It should therefore be clear to you that your God is a God of covenant. Covenant is an agreement sealed by blood. It always contains the terms of agreement as a strong relationship. It also contains two-coin side blessings and curses.

Since each party has a role to play, when each party is faithful, there are blessing for the faithfulness. But when any of the party defaults, there are curses (Deuteronomy 28:15; Isaiah 1:19-20; Galatians 6:7). This is the major reason why many children of God are not enjoying the blessings of the Lord.

Please remember, that it is the grace of God that gives us access to the father and son relationship we have with God. Grace of God brought us in, but without our obedience, grace will not sustain the relationship (Romans 6:1-2; John 15:14). Friend, find your way back to the word of God. Start to ask for the grace to obey His covenant word. And you will be blessed. You can not obey Him and be disappointed. Peace.

PRAYER: Lord, help me to keep obeying your word for my lifting.

“THE BLESSING OF THE COVENANT IS IN YOUR PART”
