SHARING YOUR FEELING

SHARING YOUR FEELING Hebrews 4:11-16 Devotional:- “For we do not have an high priest who cannot sympathize with our weakness… (V. 15)” It is not always very easy for people to understand us, especially when we pass through challenges and are weak. Even those who want to understand and sympathise could get to a level and turn back. Sometimes, instead of people sympathising with us, they constitute a panel of judges and begin to point accusing fingers at us.  As part of the act of love of Jesus, the scripture we read today says, He sympathises with us in our situation. In other words, He knows exactly what you are going through, both the one you can explain and the one you cannot. He could feel exactly the way you feel. The Bible says, He has suffered as we do. Even if you are struggling with a weakness or a sin, He has also been in the flesh. He knows how painful your feelings are. He cannot reject you, and He identifies with you and still loves you. DIVINE DIRECTION

DIVINE DIRECTION

Scripture Reading: Proverbs 3:1-8
Devotional:- “In all your ways acknowledge Him, And He shall direct your paths” (V. 6) NKJV

If a man want God to direct his ways, then there are covenant responsibility attach to it. Most people complain that God is not speaking to them. They complain they cannot hear God. But most people do not know that it is questions that provoke answers.

If a man wants God to be directing his part, he must get used to acknowledge God. To acknowledge God means to recognized that God is and that He is everywhere (Hebrews 11:6). To acknowledge God is to keep in mind that God in His faithfulness will always answer whenever we ask Him (Matthew 7:7). To acknowledge God is to ask Him for direction expecting an answer.

Friend, you must convince yourself of the presence and the faithfulness of God anywhere you may be. Then, learn to ask Him for direction always. Do this in all your ways and you will soon get used to it. Until you are consistent in it, you may not get used to His way of directing you. Conclude in your heart that God will always give you an answer (Psalms 85:8; 32:8-9). He is faithful. Peace.

PRAYER: Lord, help me to grow the habit of asking you for direction.

“ONLY WHAT YOU ARE USED TO WILL ALWAYS FLOW TO YOU”
