SHARING YOUR FEELING

SHARING YOUR FEELING Hebrews 4:11-16 Devotional:- “For we do not have an high priest who cannot sympathize with our weakness… (V. 15)” It is not always very easy for people to understand us, especially when we pass through challenges and are weak. Even those who want to understand and sympathise could get to a level and turn back. Sometimes, instead of people sympathising with us, they constitute a panel of judges and begin to point accusing fingers at us.  As part of the act of love of Jesus, the scripture we read today says, He sympathises with us in our situation. In other words, He knows exactly what you are going through, both the one you can explain and the one you cannot. He could feel exactly the way you feel. The Bible says, He has suffered as we do. Even if you are struggling with a weakness or a sin, He has also been in the flesh. He knows how painful your feelings are. He cannot reject you, and He identifies with you and still loves you. GODLY CHILDREN

GODLY CHILDREN

Scripture Reading: Proverbs 22:1-8
Devotional:- “Train up a child in the way he should go, And when he is old he will not depart from it” (V. 6) NKJV

Everyone desires godly children. It is lack of godly children that is making the world more terrible today. The more our educational system becomes developed, the more terrible generation we are producing. Our education produces academic professionals but does not build the right spirit in man.

Godly children are children who fears God and are guided by the Spirit of God (Isaiah 54:13). The word of God gave us the covenant responsibility to produce godly children. It is by training our children right. While the school train them academically, the parents should endeavor to train them in the way of the Lord and in godly attitude.

Friend, a child that is not rightly trained will end up being wrongly trained (Proverbs 29:15). This demand that every father and mother should take time to teach and show them a life of example. Parents should teach their children to fear the Lord (Genesis 18:18-19).  Parents should teach their children to obey the Lord. Parents should teach their children the godly way to make money. Parents should teach their children to serve the Lord who is their owner and be a solution wherever they are. Then you will have a peaceful future with your children. You will not be in danger of judgement of God because of your children in Jesus name. Peace.

PRAYER: Lord, help me not to fail as a parent.

“WHAT YOUR CHILDREN WATCH YOU DOING IS WHAT THEY WILL BECOME”
