  MEDIATING Hebrews 8:1-13 Devotional:- “But now He has obtained a more excellent ministry, inasmuch as He is also Mediator of a better covenant, which was established on better promises” (V. 6) NKJV In the Old Testament, the human priest used to stand in the gap between God and man. But because they are also human and can also sin, their priesthood was not able to actually deliver the human race. This is the ministry Jesus is carrying out on behalf of the believers since His ascension to heaven.  This ministry was taken over by Jesus because He loves us. Though He is seated on the throne but sitting closely to the Father to advocate for us. A mediator is someone who stands in the gap between the benefactor and the beneficiary. He is the one who pleads our cause to God. He is the one who intercedes for us before the Father. That is why we can be certain of our faith in God through Christ Jesus. GODLY CHILDREN

Scripture Reading: Proverbs 22:1-8
Devotional:- “Train up a child in the way he should go, And when he is old he will not depart from it” (V. 6) NKJV

    Everyone desires godly children. It is lack of godly children that is making the world more terrible today. The more our educational system becomes developed, the more terrible generation we are producing. Our education produces academic professionals but does not build the right spirit in man.

Godly children are children who fears God and are guided by the Spirit of God (Isaiah 54:13). The word of God gave us the covenant responsibility to produce godly children. It is by training our children right. While the school train them academically, the parents should endeavor to train them in the way of the Lord and in godly attitude.

Friend, a child that is not rightly trained will end up being wrongly trained (Proverbs 29:15). This demand that every father and mother should take time to teach and show them a life of example. Parents should teach their children to fear the Lord (Genesis 18:18-19).  Parents should teach their children to obey the Lord. Parents should teach their children the godly way to make money. Parents should teach their children to serve the Lord who is their owner and be a solution wherever they are. Then you will have a peaceful future with your children. You will not be in danger of judgement of God because of your children in Jesus name. Peace.

PRAYER: Lord, help me not to fail as a parent.

“WHAT YOUR CHILDREN WATCH YOU DOING IS WHAT THEY WILL BECOME”

MASTER’S MINAS Luke 19:11-27 Devotional:- “So he called ten of his servants, delivered to them ten minas, and said to them, 'Do business till I come” (V. 13) NKJV      The word of God instructs us to do business. The Bible did not advise us to do business but it commanded us. That is why it would be wrong for you and me to be without a business. That makes idleness a crime against self (1 Thessalonians 4:11). Business is whatever you are doing to earn income. God will not accommodate idleness with anyone because He invested heavily in us.

COURAGE Joshua 1:1-9 Devotional:- “Have I not commanded you? Be strong and of good courage; do not be afraid, nor be dismayed, for the LORD your God is with you wherever you go” (V. 9) NKJV      A major reason why many people are weak is because their level of courage is so low, that it cannot sustain them through to success. So they easily give up when faced with challenges. There is need for us to understand that there is no action that will not attract a reaction. So the only answer is courage.
