  MEDIATING Hebrews 8:1-13 Devotional:- “But now He has obtained a more excellent ministry, inasmuch as He is also Mediator of a better covenant, which was established on better promises” (V. 6) NKJV In the Old Testament, the human priest used to stand in the gap between God and man. But because they are also human and can also sin, their priesthood was not able to actually deliver the human race. This is the ministry Jesus is carrying out on behalf of the believers since His ascension to heaven.  This ministry was taken over by Jesus because He loves us. Though He is seated on the throne but sitting closely to the Father to advocate for us. A mediator is someone who stands in the gap between the benefactor and the beneficiary. He is the one who pleads our cause to God. He is the one who intercedes for us before the Father. That is why we can be certain of our faith in God through Christ Jesus. LONG LIFE 

Scripture Reading: Psalms 91:1-16
Devotional:- “With long life I will satisfy him, And show him My salvation." (V. 16) NKJV

    Living long is determined by God. He is the one that has the control of life and death. So, He gives it to each one as He wishes. He made all men for a purpose. The fulfillment of a purpose is a determining factor for existence in this word (John 19:30; 2 Timothy 4:6-8). Yet, the word of God gives us a covenant of long life.

The word of God says “if we can set our love genuinely upon God and know His name, then He will satisfy us with long life (Psalms 91:14-16). To love God means, to be willing to do His will. To be passionate about the issues of His kingdom. To know His name is to meditate to gain the mystery behind His name. Then, the love of God will make us executors of His plan and His name will prove faith in us to live in health.

Friend, it’s time to cast the love of God in our heart. Whatever concerns God should become our delight, so that the enemy don’t just prevail against us. No devil can take your life when God is keeping it. Peace.

PRAYER: Lord, give me grace to set my love on you.

“YOU WILL DO ALL WITHIN YOUR POWER TO KEEP YOUR LOVED ONE ALIVE”

MASTER’S MINAS Luke 19:11-27 Devotional:- “So he called ten of his servants, delivered to them ten minas, and said to them, 'Do business till I come” (V. 13) NKJV      The word of God instructs us to do business. The Bible did not advise us to do business but it commanded us. That is why it would be wrong for you and me to be without a business. That makes idleness a crime against self (1 Thessalonians 4:11). Business is whatever you are doing to earn income. God will not accommodate idleness with anyone because He invested heavily in us.

COURAGE Joshua 1:1-9 Devotional:- “Have I not commanded you? Be strong and of good courage; do not be afraid, nor be dismayed, for the LORD your God is with you wherever you go” (V. 9) NKJV      A major reason why many people are weak is because their level of courage is so low, that it cannot sustain them through to success. So they easily give up when faced with challenges. There is need for us to understand that there is no action that will not attract a reaction. So the only answer is courage.
