CHOICE OF JOY Acts 16:20-30 Devotional:- “But at midnight Paul and Silas were praying and singing hymns to God, and the prisoners were listening to them.” (V.25) NKJV So many people in this world have not woken up to the fact that the way they live is their choice. One of the greatest errors is to think that the situation a man finds himself, is the determining factor of his life. This is not true. Please come to an awareness of this truth from now on: that you are living as you have chosen to live. Get to know that you are a creature of choice. Whatever your choice is, that is your lot. God chooses no evil for anyone in life (Jeremiah 29:11). Whether you are happy or not, whether you are rich or not, whether you are healthy or not, it is your choice; if you decide otherwise from now and stand by your decision, things will change for you. GOD OF COVENANT

Scripture Reading: Deuteronomy 7:1-10
"Therefore know that the Lord your God, He is God, the faithful God who keeps covenant and mercy for a thousand generations with those who love Him and keep His commandments” (V. 9)

It is important that you as a believer come to an understanding that your God is a God of covenant. He is not like man and does not do things like people does things (Isaiah 55:8-9). His dealings with us is govern by His covenant. That is why no matter what anybody does as long as it is not according to the covenant of God, God is not committed to respond.

Often time, Christian get confused of how they feel they have done all they need to do and it is like God is not doing His part of the deal. But most of the time, we don’t even know the covenant of God nor work in it. So God has no business in such practices. This is because He relates with man only on the basis of His covenant (Galatians 6:7).

Some fellow want to just throw money or prayer at God and expect their own expectant result. Such often get disappointed because God is not involved. Please know from today that you don’t deal with God as with men. His covenant is the terms and condition of getting things done in God. Give yourself to studying His covenant to understand His ways. MASTER’S MINAS Luke 19:11-27 Devotional:- “So he called ten of his servants, delivered to them ten minas, and said to them, 'Do business till I come” (V. 13) NKJV      The word of God instructs us to do business. The Bible did not advise us to do business but it commanded us. That is why it would be wrong for you and me to be without a business. That makes idleness a crime against self (1 Thessalonians 4:11). Business is whatever you are doing to earn income. God will not accommodate idleness with anyone because He invested heavily in us.

COURAGE Joshua 1:1-9 Devotional:- “Have I not commanded you? Be strong and of good courage; do not be afraid, nor be dismayed, for the LORD your God is with you wherever you go” (V. 9) NKJV      A major reason why many people are weak is because their level of courage is so low, that it cannot sustain them through to success. So they easily give up when faced with challenges. There is need for us to understand that there is no action that will not attract a reaction. So the only answer is courage.
