HOW SERVANTS THINK

HOW SERVANTS THINK Numbers 14:11-25 Devotional:- “But My servant Caleb, because he has a different spirit in him and has followed Me fully, I will bring into the land where he went, and his descendants shall inherit it” (V. 24).   To be a servant requires complete mental shift and change in attitude. Before God, attitude count more than achievement (2 Chronicles 25:2). So, when we look at how real servants think, they think more about others than themselves. Humility is not thinking less of ourselves but thinking of ourselves less (Philippians 2:4). Jesus takes the form of a servant (Philippians 2:7). We can measure our servant’s heart by how we respond when others treat us as servants. Real servants think like a steward and not owner. They keep in mind that God owns it all.  To become a real servant you’ve got to settle the issue of money in your life (Luke 16:13). Please understand that money has a great potential to replace God in our heart. When Jesus is your master...

BOOK OF COVENANT

BOOK OF COVENANT

Scripture Reading: Joshua 1:1-9
Devotional:- “This Book of the Law shall not depart from your mouth, but you shall meditate in it day and night, that you may observe to do according to all that is written in it. For then you will make your way prosperous, and then you will have good success” (V. 8) NKJV

Bible is the book of the covenant. It is in it all the ways of God’s pattern of relationship with people are written. The way God related with Abraham, Isaac, Jacob, Joseph, David, Solomon, and the disciples. All of these are written that we may learn the way of God through their lives (1 Corinthians 10:11). This is because God is the same yesterday, today and forever.

As a child of God, every time you want to know the covenant responsibility for an expectation in your life, just sit down to search through the word of God. He will reveal His ways to you. The word of God is the bank of the covenant of God that takes care of all that you will ever need.

Friend, there is nothing you are going through that someone has not gone through same before in the scripture. Meditating on how they overcame is a way to deliver the way out of your problems to you. It will instruct you of the right steps in God (2 Timothy 3:16). Fulfilling your covenant responsibility according to the scripture is the way out of every trouble of life. Learn to meditate on solution from the word and you will be a wonder to your world. Peace.

PRAYER: Lord, give me the grace to love your word.

“IF YOU CAN SIT DOWN WITH YOUR BIBLE, YOU WILL SOON BE OUT OF ALL TROUBLES”
