  MEDIATING Hebrews 8:1-13 Devotional:- “But now He has obtained a more excellent ministry, inasmuch as He is also Mediator of a better covenant, which was established on better promises” (V. 6) NKJV In the Old Testament, the human priest used to stand in the gap between God and man. But because they are also human and can also sin, their priesthood was not able to actually deliver the human race. This is the ministry Jesus is carrying out on behalf of the believers since His ascension to heaven.  This ministry was taken over by Jesus because He loves us. Though He is seated on the throne but sitting closely to the Father to advocate for us. A mediator is someone who stands in the gap between the benefactor and the beneficiary. He is the one who pleads our cause to God. He is the one who intercedes for us before the Father. That is why we can be certain of our faith in God through Christ Jesus. BLOOD OF COVENANT

Scripture Reading: Zechariah 9:10-17
Devotional:- "As for you also, Because of the blood of your covenant, I will set your prisoners free from the waterless pit.” (V. 11)

    Covenant is stronger than agreement because it is not just seal by human signature. It is seal by blood. Remember that blood contains life (Leviticus 17:11). So, the covenant of God is sealed with blood. In the Old Testament, it used to be the blood of animals but in the New Testament, it is sealed with the blood of Jesus (Hebrews 7:25-28).

The covenant of God for you is purchased by the blood of Jesus. This is because; no man can be qualified to receive from God. It is the blood of Jesus that gives us access to God. That is why everyone who wants to enjoy the blessing of God must accept Jesus as their Lord and Saviour. It is when the angels see the blood that he knows who to visit and who not to. That is why Jesus commanded us to take His blood and body always (Luke 22:19-20).

The blood of Jesus gives us access to the protection, healing, deliverance, answered prayers, freedom and all the blessings of God. It is the prize that Jesus paid that gave you the prize. It is not your work or righteousness but His grace. So, please value God’s goodness to you and your family. It is all at the expense of Jesus death and resurrection. Peace.

PRAYER: Lord, thank you for the prize of your blood.

“THE BLOOD OF JESUS QUALIFIES YOU FOR ALL OF GOD”

MASTER’S MINAS Luke 19:11-27 Devotional:- “So he called ten of his servants, delivered to them ten minas, and said to them, 'Do business till I come” (V. 13) NKJV      The word of God instructs us to do business. The Bible did not advise us to do business but it commanded us. That is why it would be wrong for you and me to be without a business. That makes idleness a crime against self (1 Thessalonians 4:11). Business is whatever you are doing to earn income. God will not accommodate idleness with anyone because He invested heavily in us.

COURAGE Joshua 1:1-9 Devotional:- “Have I not commanded you? Be strong and of good courage; do not be afraid, nor be dismayed, for the LORD your God is with you wherever you go” (V. 9) NKJV      A major reason why many people are weak is because their level of courage is so low, that it cannot sustain them through to success. So they easily give up when faced with challenges. There is need for us to understand that there is no action that will not attract a reaction. So the only answer is courage.
