  OVERFLOWING PROSPERITY Zechariah 1:13-21 Devotional:- “Again proclaim, saying, 'Thus says the LORD of hosts: "My cities shall again spread out through prosperity; The LORD will again comfort Zion, And will again choose Jerusalem'"” (V.17) NKJV At the end of the year, God intends to prosper and supply you with great and pleasant riches (Psalms 65:11). When someone is not prospering in life, everything about him will look odd. When a person is not prosperous, there are so many things responsible. It might be that he is not working in God’s knowledge and understanding; it could also be that he is not working in God’s covenant. This is paying your tithe, offering, blessing the poor, and taking care of your parent, children and men of God. It could also be that he is not faithful to his staff. BLOOD OF COVENANT

Scripture Reading: Zechariah 9:10-17
Devotional:- "As for you also, Because of the blood of your covenant, I will set your prisoners free from the waterless pit.” (V. 11)

    Covenant is stronger than agreement because it is not just seal by human signature. It is seal by blood. Remember that blood contains life (Leviticus 17:11). So, the covenant of God is sealed with blood. In the Old Testament, it used to be the blood of animals but in the New Testament, it is sealed with the blood of Jesus (Hebrews 7:25-28).

The covenant of God for you is purchased by the blood of Jesus. This is because; no man can be qualified to receive from God. It is the blood of Jesus that gives us access to God. That is why everyone who wants to enjoy the blessing of God must accept Jesus as their Lord and Saviour. It is when the angels see the blood that he knows who to visit and who not to. That is why Jesus commanded us to take His blood and body always (Luke 22:19-20).

The blood of Jesus gives us access to the protection, healing, deliverance, answered prayers, freedom and all the blessings of God. It is the prize that Jesus paid that gave you the prize. It is not your work or righteousness but His grace. So, please value God’s goodness to you and your family. It is all at the expense of Jesus death and resurrection. Peace.

PRAYER: Lord, thank you for the prize of your blood.

Jesus earned this office by becoming the sacrificial Lamb of God for the salvation and redemption of man (Phil. 2:7-11). Therefore, every citizen of the kingdom of God must be followers and disciples of Jesus.

FRUITFULNESS Psalms 128:1-6 Devotional:- Your wife shall be like a fruitful vine In the very heart of your house, Your children like olive plants All around your table” (V.3) NKJV      One of the blessings God pronounced on man at creation is fruitfulness. And today people are beginning to think that fruitlessness is a defect in the creation of man. So, most people are beginning to count it as natural to be fruitless. But we need to ask ourselves if there were defects in God's creation. Why should it be that it is only in human we often find such defects? How many goats or dogs have you found barren? Are we saying the same word of God spoken that brought the creation of all things has failed on the side of humans?  If you accept it as your lifestyle, it is your choice.
