JOY IN TRUSTING GOD

JOY IN TRUSTING GOD Proverbs 16:16-26 Devotional:- “He who heeds the word wisely will find good, And whoever trusts in the LORD, happy is he” (V. 20) NKJV Living in doubts, fears, and anxieties cause sadness and sorrows in the lives of people. Sometimes it’s so bad that it leads to depression and ill health. One of the reasons for this is often our inability to trust God in times of need. Whenever there is a delay in our expectations, we easily struggle with our relationship with God.  But when a man trusts in the Lord, he will not see the troubles around, he will only see the promises of God that can never fail; and that will bring great joy, peace and happiness. People around him will wonder what is giving him such joy even in the face of imminent challenges. Beloved God loves you. He cares about you. He has promised to help you (Isaiah 41:10). When you allow Him in your heart, you cannot lose your joy (Psalm 16:11). This is because wherever Jesus is dwelling, joy will alw...

AGREEMENT

AGREEMENT

Scripture Reading: Amos 3:1-8
Devotional:- “Can two walk together, unless they are agreed?” (V. 3)

A covenant is a term of agreement between two or more parties. When people want to get involved in a relationship with purpose, it is always necessary to have a term of agreement. For example, if two or more people want to be friends, there are either written or non written terms of the relationship.

A major reason people who are best of friends later became enemy to each other is because they over expect from each other since there is no terms of agreement in the relationship. When people want to go into business partnership, there are always legal terms of agreement. The same is applicable in marriage.

Please know that being a Christian is fundamentally been in a relationship with God. His covenants are the terms of His relationship with man. That is why you and I have to start studying the terms and conditions of our relationship with God, so that we are not disappointed in God. He is a God of covenant who keeps His covenant to thousand generations (Exodus 34:6-7). There is no prayer and fasting that will make God do what He has not promised in His word. We only pray and receive when we pray according to His will (1John 5:14). This is because His will is His covenant for His children. Take time to know His will before you start claiming. Peace.

PRAYER: Lord, help me to know your will

“GOD WILL NEVER FAIL HIS AGREEMENT WITH YOU IF YOU DON’T FAIL”
