  HOW SERVANTS THINK Numbers 14:11-25 Devotional:- “But My servant Caleb, because he has a different spirit in him and has followed Me fully, I will bring into the land where he went, and his descendants shall inherit it” (V. 24).   To be a servant requires complete mental shift and change in attitude. Before God, attitude count more than achievement (2 Chronicles 25:2). So, when we look at how real servants think, they think more about others than themselves. Humility is not thinking less of ourselves but thinking of ourselves less (Philippians 2:4). Jesus takes the form of a servant (Philippians 2:7). We can measure our servant’s heart by how we respond when others treat us as servants. Real servants think like a steward and not owner. They keep in mind that God owns it all.  To become a real servant you’ve got to settle the issue of money in your life (Luke 16:13). ANSWERED PRAYER

Scripture Reading: 1 John 5:14-17
Devotional:- “Now this is the confidence that we have in Him, that if we ask anything according to His will, He hears us” (V. 14) NKJV

    Everyone wants answers to prayers. The beauty of following or serving the Lord is that He gives answers to prayers. That is why you and I should know what it takes to receive answers to our prayers.

The word of God says “we know that we will be answered whenever we ask according to His will. This is because the covenant book of God contains the prayers God had promised to answer. Whatever God has not promised, no matter how many times you ask, He is not under any obligation to answer. Your act of fasting and volume of prayers notwithstanding.

This therefore demands that we seek to know His will about our situation before we start to ask. That you want something does not mean God want it. The Economists say human want is unlimited, but what God promise and will answer is limited to what He promise in His word. That is why, we, calling ourselves Christians and not studying the word of God or always been absent from church to study the word will lead to much frustration. God will answer only according to His promises. Peace.

PRAYER: Lord, give me the love to know your will

MASTER’S MINAS Luke 19:11-27 Devotional:- “So he called ten of his servants, delivered to them ten minas, and said to them, 'Do business till I come” (V. 13) NKJV      The word of God instructs us to do business. The Bible did not advise us to do business but it commanded us. That is why it would be wrong for you and me to be without a business. That makes idleness a crime against self (1 Thessalonians 4:11). Business is whatever you are doing to earn income. God will not accommodate idleness with anyone because He invested heavily in us.

COURAGE Joshua 1:1-9 Devotional:- “Have I not commanded you? Be strong and of good courage; do not be afraid, nor be dismayed, for the LORD your God is with you wherever you go” (V. 9) NKJV      A major reason why many people are weak is because their level of courage is so low, that it cannot sustain them through to success. So they easily give up when faced with challenges. There is need for us to understand that there is no action that will not attract a reaction. So the only answer is courage.
