  OVERFLOWING PROSPERITY Zechariah 1:13-21 Devotional:- “Again proclaim, saying, 'Thus says the LORD of hosts: "My cities shall again spread out through prosperity; The LORD will again comfort Zion, And will again choose Jerusalem'"” (V.17) NKJV At the end of the year, God intends to prosper and supply you with great and pleasant riches (Psalms 65:11). When someone is not prospering in life, everything about him will look odd. When a person is not prosperous, there are so many things responsible. It might be that he is not working in God’s knowledge and understanding; it could also be that he is not working in God’s covenant. This is paying your tithe, offering, blessing the poor, and taking care of your parent, children and men of God. It could also be that he is not faithful to his staff. ANSWERED PRAYER

Scripture Reading: 1 John 5:14-17
Devotional:- “Now this is the confidence that we have in Him, that if we ask anything according to His will, He hears us” (V. 14) NKJV

    Everyone wants answers to prayers. The beauty of following or serving the Lord is that He gives answers to prayers. That is why you and I should know what it takes to receive answers to our prayers.

The word of God says “we know that we will be answered whenever we ask according to His will. This is because the covenant book of God contains the prayers God had promised to answer. Whatever God has not promised, no matter how many times you ask, He is not under any obligation to answer. Your act of fasting and volume of prayers notwithstanding.

This therefore demands that we seek to know His will about our situation before we start to ask. That you want something does not mean God want it. The Economists say human want is unlimited, but what God promise and will answer is limited to what He promise in His word. That is why, we, calling ourselves Christians and not studying the word of God or always been absent from church to study the word will lead to much frustration. God will answer only according to His promises. Peace.

PRAYER: Lord, give me the love to know your will

Jesus earned this office by becoming the sacrificial Lamb of God for the salvation and redemption of man (Phil. 2:7-11). Therefore, every citizen of the kingdom of God must be followers and disciples of Jesus.

FRUITFULNESS Psalms 128:1-6 Devotional:- Your wife shall be like a fruitful vine In the very heart of your house, Your children like olive plants All around your table” (V.3) NKJV      One of the blessings God pronounced on man at creation is fruitfulness. And today people are beginning to think that fruitlessness is a defect in the creation of man. So, most people are beginning to count it as natural to be fruitless. But we need to ask ourselves if there were defects in God's creation. Why should it be that it is only in human we often find such defects? How many goats or dogs have you found barren? Are we saying the same word of God spoken that brought the creation of all things has failed on the side of humans?  If you accept it as your lifestyle, it is your choice.
