PRESENCE OF GOD

PRESENCE OF GOD  Psalm 16:5-11 Devotional:- “You will show me the path of life; In Your presence is fullness of joy; At Your right hand are pleasures forevermore” (v.11) NKJV As good as joy is, one of the greatest tasks of joy is sustaining it. So the world always finds it difficult to sustain. Many cannot even experience it for more than two hours per week. This is because they have not located the source of joy. As a believer, you need to know that joy is a product of the presence of God. Wherever God’s presence is, our scripture today says joy will fill the place. It means the oxygen and the hydrogen of the atmosphere of God are joy. So you cannot be in His presence and not know joy. No wonder David said he is always glad when it is time to go to the house of the Lord. (Psalm 122:1). To experience the presence of the Lord, you need to be filled with the Holy Spirit, and then His presence will be within you. You also need to believe that He is with you according to His word. PEACEFUL HOME

PEACEFUL HOME

Scripture Reading: Exodus 1:10-22
Devotional:- “And so it was, because the midwives feared God, that He provided households for them” (V. 21) NKJV

Good home is a gift from God. Human wisdom may not be able to deliver it. A peaceful home is a joy of all the living. As the world is turning wicked, good home is becoming scarce. But the word of God gave us the covenant that gives access to have a good home.

We read about the experience of the nurses of the children of Israel in the land of Egypt. Pharaoh the king gave an instruction for the killing of every male child of the Israelites. But the mid wives fear the Lord, so they were not killing the male children of the Israelites. They do not want to join the devil in agenda (John 10:10). And because they fear the Lord, God gave them beautiful families.

Friend, God is the same yesterday, today and forever. What He did to those nurses He can do for you if only you will do what they did. They fear the Lord and shun evil (Job 28:28). Fear God in your dealing with people. Fear God in treating what God has committed into your hand, your family, your office, the house of the Lord and the community. And God will make your home a peaceful one. Peace.

Prayer: Lord, plant your fear in my heart

“GOOD HOME IS A TREASURE GIVEN BY GOD”
