  DESIGNED TO SERVE GOD Psalm 139:13-18 Devotional:- “Such knowledge is too wonderful for me, too great for me to understand!” (V. 16 NLT)   God designed and formed you to fit into what He wants you to do to serve Him. The intended function determines the form of a building, so also your life. You are the way you are because you were made for specific ministry (Ephesians 2:10) Our scripture today simply means nothing that happens in your life is insignificant. God will never waste any ability unless He intend to use it for His glory (1 Peter 2:9) Before God will give you any assignment, He must have packaged you for it. This packaging is what we call shape (Jeremiah 1:5). Let us look at the meaning of each letter in your shape. The ‘S’ represents Spiritual gifts. These are special God-empowered abilities for serving Him, giving only to believers (1 Cor. 2:14). These gift cannot be bought because they are given by the Holy Spirit (1 Cor. 12:11). LONG SUFFERING

Ephesians 4:1-6
Devotional:- "with all lowliness and gentleness, with longsuffering, bearing with one another in love". (V. 2)

    As the world is deteriorating in value the virtue of long suffering is fast escaping. The way God designs love, you cannot truly love without long suffering. True love cannot be temporary. True love cannot be only when it is well. True love cannot be existing sometimes and stop at another time. True love is actually known in the time of trouble (Romans 5:6).

Love is not made for when it is sweet alone. True love stays when it is dark. True love does not back out. God's word instructs us to bear with one another with long suffering. That is why long suffering is part of the lifestyle of God because God is love (Exodus 34:6; Ephesians 4:2)

For anyone to exercise long suffering, he/she must understand that loving is a lifetime venture and it does not expire. We also need to know that love is with hope, this is hoping that all shall turn for good (Romans 8:28). To love with long suffering demands that we live a sacrificial life and willing to stay to see the good end (Habakkuk 2:3). Human view or human comments cannot be considered in long suffering. This is because there is no room for selfish motive in true love (1 John 4:18). Make up your mind to live in love and your life and relationship will be peaceful.

PRAYER: Lord, help me to live a selfless life to be able to love.

“Only those who can endure can enjoy in love”

MASTER’S MINAS Luke 19:11-27 Devotional:- “So he called ten of his servants, delivered to them ten minas, and said to them, 'Do business till I come” (V. 13) NKJV      The word of God instructs us to do business. The Bible did not advise us to do business but it commanded us. That is why it would be wrong for you and me to be without a business. That makes idleness a crime against self (1 Thessalonians 4:11). Business is whatever you are doing to earn income. God will not accommodate idleness with anyone because He invested heavily in us.

Be strong and of good courage; do not be afraid, nor be dismayed, for the LORD your God is with you wherever you go” (V. 9) NKJV      A major reason why many people are weak is because their level of courage is so low, that it cannot sustain them through to success. So they easily give up when faced with challenges. There is need for us to understand that there is no action that will not attract a reaction. So the only answer is courage.
