LIVING IN YOUR PURPOSE

LIVING IN YOUR PURPOSE Ecclesiastics 4:1-6 Devotional:- "Again, I saw that for all toil and every skillful work a man is envied by his neighbor. This also is vanity and grasping for the wind” (V.4)   One of the most frustrating things in life is when people don’t know what exactly to live for. In that case they just live doing whatever they find others living for.  So many people live their lives driven by guilt. So they keep regretting their steps and past. Some live all their lives on resentment and anger. So many lives are in disarray because they are victims of transfer of aggression. So many lives are driven by fear of many things, so many live their lives driven by materialism, so they live a live that is never satisfied pursuing money. Other lives are driven by the need for approval. So it is what people say about them that determine their joy. The best way to live is to be driven by purpose for which God made you.  When you allow God’s purpose for your life...

DEEP FEELINGS

DEEP FEELINGS

Hebrews 4:11-16
For we do not have a High Priest who cannot sympathize with our weaknesses, but was in all points tempted as we are, yet without sin.  (V. 15)

The act of loving is often expressed in our feelings. In other word, when we are truly Loving, we have emotional feelings for the person we love. The feelings may not be the love but you cannot love without feelings. The feelings are the manifestation of love in us. To feel is not just to lust, but to empathize. To feel along in the same situation with the one we love.

The word of God referring to Jesus said “We have an high priest who have feelings for us in our weaknesses. He knows our weaknesses because He has been in the flesh like us in the past. Empathizing is a product of deep feeling toward someone in their situation. That is why Jesus can forgive our sins (Luke 23:34). Because He knows our limitations.

As believers, we must let the feelings of our love be controlled by the Holy Spirit. Not to lust, but to always be of help to each other. God's word says, because of the feelings of Jesus towards us, He is able to forgive and tolerate us. In these feelings of love you will want to sincerely consider others and not just condemn them. If you are considerate about your family, you will not be bitter against them. Peace.

PRAYER: Lord, help me to always sympathize with people around me

“FEELINGS OF LOVE WILL ALWAYS LEAD YOU TO HELPING OTHERS“
