  DON’T HATE Matthew 5:43-48  Devotional:- “But I say to you, love your enemies, bless those who curse you, do good to those who hate you, and pray for those who spitefully use you and persecute you,” (V. 44) NKJV The subject of love is not always easy to practise between you, and those who have shown themselves as committed enemies. Those who will openly stand against you. Those who just hate you for no reason. Those who don’t pray that anything good should happen to you. Yet the Bible gave us a commandment in the midst of it all to love and never to hate them. What a great task! But until a Christian grows to this level, he cannot actually be called mature. The way to handle it is that we should bless those who curse us. Always do good to those who hate you. If they are moved by the spirit in them to do evil to you, be moved by the Spirit in you to love them. We cannot truly say we love till we can prayerfully demonstrate the character of love. HUMILITY

Romans 12:15-21
Devotional:- "Be of the same mind toward one another. Do not set your mind on high things, but associate with the humble. Do not be wise in your own opinion". (V.16)

    It is the character of love to be humble. If a man is proud, he can not truly love. To be proud is to be wearing an oversized shoe, so that people will think your leg is big. It is a demonstration of a fake identity. People outwardly become proud because of identity crisis. When you don't know who you are, you will want to proof to people that you are somebody. There is no need acting big when you are not. A proud man thinks he knows it all.

The word of God says “we should not think of ourselves more highly than we ought. The word of God teaches us to identify and associate with humble people. Don't be too wise (Proverbs 5:5-6). It pays to be sincerely humble in all your ways. When you are proud as a leader, the best you can enjoy is eye service and people will mock behind you. Pride is a pointer that you really do not know but proving that you know to cover your ignorance.

In relationship when you think people don't know you, they do. Pride is often lack of self esteem and over estimating self to prove a self worth. You can sincerely ask the Lord to reveal yourself to you. Understand that God makes you very important and unique. Humility will give you great value before God and man (Psalms 25:9). You will earn the promotion before God and man (1 Peter 5:6). Peace.

PRAYER: Lord, give me a humble heart

MASTER’S MINAS Luke 19:11-27 Devotional:- “So he called ten of his servants, delivered to them ten minas, and said to them, 'Do business till I come” (V. 13) NKJV      The word of God instructs us to do business. The Bible did not advise us to do business but it commanded us. That is why it would be wrong for you and me to be without a business. That makes idleness a crime against self (1 Thessalonians 4:11). Business is whatever you are doing to earn income. God will not accommodate idleness with anyone because He invested heavily in us.

COURAGE Joshua 1:1-9 Devotional:- “Have I not commanded you? Be strong and of good courage; do not be afraid, nor be dismayed, for the LORD your God is with you wherever you go” (V. 9) NKJV      A major reason why many people are weak is because their level of courage is so low, that it cannot sustain them through to success. So they easily give up when faced with challenges. There is need for us to understand that there is no action that will not attract a reaction. So the only answer is courage.
