REMOVE SORROW Ecclesiastes 11:7-10 Devotional:- “Therefore remove sorrow from your heart, And put away evil from your flesh, For childhood and youth are vanity” (v.10) NKJV One of the strongest weapons the devil uses against our lives is sorrow. The most common problem most people have is sustaining their joy. The truth is that no one can succeed with sorrow. See, it is the goal of the devil to keep you in sorrow. When you are sad, he celebrates. This is because he knows the effect of sorrow, which most of us are unaware of. Many things encourage sorrow in the human life; some of such are disappointment and discouragement. Some people ignorantly have sorrow because of their bitterness toward everyone, even against God and themselves. But you need to know that when you are sorrowful, you can't relate with God for solution. In sorrow, a man’s mental, spiritual and physical systems are broken down (Proverbs 15:13). It could easily lead to sickness and death (Proverbs 17:22; II Corin...

DOING JUSTICE

DOING JUSTICE

John 8:1-12
Devotional:- "When Jesus had raised Himself up and saw no one but the woman, He said to her, “Woman, where are those accusers of yours? Has no one condemned you?” (V. 10)

In a true house of love, there will be justice. To be just is to be fair on others. One of the reasons God love us is because He is a just God. If there is justice in any relationship, either official or non official, such will be strong and solid. This is because there is no partiality or favoritism.  God was boasting about Abraham that he will teach his children to do justice and righteousness (Genesis 18:18-19). This is what God expect of you and I too.

We read about the lifestyle of God's in the scripture of today that He loves righteousness and justice (Psalm 33:5). In another scripture, the Bible says “I desire mercy and not sacrifice (Matthew12:7). Jesus said, the weightier matter of the law are justice, mercy and faith (Matthew 23:23).

To do justice is to be fair and considerate when you are relating with others. This does not mean you tolerate sin or wrong conduct, yet the weight you can't carry, you don't put it on others. Be fair as you relate with people. Yes, you must live right with God but not to be too strict to destroy others. Wickedness is not part of godliness. Leader should discipline people with fairness. You are to love people like yourself. The Lord will help us. Peace

PRAYER: Lord, help me to live a just life

“The balance between wickedness and righteousness is justice”
