LIVING WITH PURPOSE

LIVING WITH PURPOSE Proverbs 19:16-23 Devotional – “You can make many plans, but the LORD's purpose will prevail” (v. 21 NLT) Living on purpose is the only way to really live; everything else just merely exists. Most people struggle with these three questions in life; WHO AM I? (Identity); WHY AM I MADE? (Purpose); WHAT IS MY PLACE IN LIFE? (Impact). The answers to these entire questions are found in five Gods purpose for you. Now that you know God’s purpose for your life, it is important you live in it. For you not to drift away from the most important things of life, it is important to develop a purpose statement for your life and regularly review it. This is a statement that summarizes God’s purpose for your life (Psalm 39:11). It is a statement that point the direction of your life (Proverbs 4:26). BOOK OF LOVE

BOOK OF LOVE

1 John 2:5-11
Devotional:- "But whoever keeps His word, truly the love of God is perfected in him. By this we know that we are in Him". (v. 5)

The good manual and text book from where to learn the character of love is the word of God. There are different types of love but the greatest kind of love is the God’s kind of love. This is the love that has made God to endure with man from creation. This is the love that make God to give the world His only son as a sacrifice for our sins (1 John 4:10). This is the love that made God want to live with men eternally.

If anyone wants to grow the attitude of love, the bible is the first text book. It teaches and show us the practical way of love; from the love of God to man in the Garden of Eden, to the practical presence of Jesus on earth. To the death and resurrection of Jesus.

We all should learn to study and meditate on the word of God. It is in it we can grow the attitude of love. The word of God is the love letter to the church (John 13:35; Ephesians 5:24-25). No one put aside a lover’s letter except there is a breakdown of relationship. So when you don't study the word of God, you are not in terms with God. Remember, God is love (1 John 4:7-8). So you need to grow to be like your father- Peace.

PRAYER: Lord, help me to love your word.

“A lover’s letter is treated as the lover”
