GOOD SHEPHERD John 10:11-16  Devotional:- "I am the good shepherd. The good shepherd gave his life for the sheep”. (V. 11) Shepherds are one of the most caring people on earth. They value the lives of the sheep. They risk their life many times to save the life of the sheep. They follow the sheep wherever they go and lead them To green grass where they enjoy fresh food for their nourishment (Psalms 23:1-6). Their presence comforts and secures the sheep. They cannot tolerate the loss of any of them. So they watch over it so dearly. If anyone is missing, they take pains to look for it till they find it, and when it is found, they celebrate it (Luke 15:4-7). So also is the love of Jesus to you. He is your good shepherd. That is why He laid down His life for you. He died that you might live. He cares for you (I Peter 5:7). He cannot afford to see you in suffering. Whatever you are passing through now is for your glory (Romans 8:18). Everything shall turn to your testimony (Luke...

FORGIVE AND FORGET

FORGIVE AND FORGET

Matthew 6:7-15
Devotional:- "But if you do not forgive men their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses". (V. 15)

In relationship, a major experience you cannot but do without is offending each other. It is just of human to offend others. We offend each other because of our differences and different view of live. We offend each other because of our weaknesses and our inability to accommodate others.

The word of God teaches us to forgive each other, without that God will not also forgive us. Though, we easily claim that we have forgiven people, but we really don't easily forget. When we struggle to remove our heart from an offense, we have not really overcome it and we can not claim to have forgiven. The memory of the offense can still hurt us.

So, to be able to forgive and forget, you must know that it is a sign of weakness on your side that issues get too hard on you. So, take care of yourself, you also need to know that we view things from different angles and each one try to approve his or her own view, yet, that is not always true. So, mature people consider the view of others. In any way, when we are offended, let's talk about it and apologize to each other. Where that is not possible, let us try to pray for our offender and over time, we will forgive and forget.

PRAYER: Lord, give me grace to forgive and forget.

“There is always a lesson to learn in people offending us”
