  JOY John 16:16-24  Devotional:- “Most assuredly, I say to you that you will weep and lament, but the world will rejoice; and you will be sorrowful, but your sorrow will be turned into joy.” (V. 20) NKJV God’s word says when sorrow endures till a night, joy comes in the morning (Psalms 30:5). This is an assurance and evidence that what is called sorrow is not a permanent situation in the life of a child of God. This is because it is certain that when a night comes, morning is always the next. The night is evidence of the coming morning. This is evidence that what you are going through right now will soon result in joy. In fact, the tougher it is, the closer the joy. May you see it. The scripture we read today gave us a new dimension of hope in our lives. Jesus said, our sorrow shall turn to joy. That which we think is a thing of sorrow shall suddenly become a thing of joy. Jesus likens it to a woman who is in labour. Women in this state often feel as if the end has come. But ...

WAYS OF WISDOM 

Proverbs 3:11-18
Devotional:-“Happy is the man who finds wisdom, And the man who gains understanding;” (v.13)


    Wisdom will locate solutions to any situation for progress. Many people become discouraged when they want to search out for wisdom solution to a given situation. This is because, the more they search, the more they are confused. The reason is because God remains the giver of wisdom. That is why when wisdom is found, it produces joy. 

God is the source and the giver of wisdom (Proverbs 2:7). But most often, it is the intended receiver that is not ready to receive. That is why reading does not necessary gives wisdom. The word of God says wisdom is only given to the prudence (Proverbs 8:12). So, if any will receive wisdom, he/she must be given to cautious living. These are people who fear the Lord and will not want to disobey Him at all. 

Wisdom hates to come to the proud and arrogance people, that automatically disqualified any one (Proverbs 8:13). True wisdom is of God and having nothing to do with unrighteousness. So, evil people cannot access it. Men of perverse and corrupt mouth cannot receive wisdom. He dwells only with those who fear the Lord (Proverbs 9:10). The moment a man's heart is truly ready in humility to search, the ways of wisdom become accessible and man can enjoy the blessings of wisdom. Peace. 

Prayer:  Lord, help me to be right vessel for your wisdom.

"WHEN THE VESSEL IS READY, WISDOM IS AVAILABLE"

MASTER’S MINAS Luke 19:11-27 Devotional:- “So he called ten of his servants, delivered to them ten minas, and said to them, 'Do business till I come” (V. 13) NKJV      The word of God instructs us to do business. The Bible did not advise us to do business but it commanded us. That is why it would be wrong for you and me to be without a business. That makes idleness a crime against self (1 Thessalonians 4:11). Business is whatever you are doing to earn income. God will not accommodate idleness with anyone because He invested heavily in us.

COURAGE Joshua 1:1-9 Devotional:- “Have I not commanded you? Be strong and of good courage; do not be afraid, nor be dismayed, for the LORD your God is with you wherever you go” (V. 9) NKJV      A major reason why many people are weak is because their level of courage is so low, that it cannot sustain them through to success. So they easily give up when faced with challenges. There is need for us to understand that there is no action that will not attract a reaction. So the only answer is courage.
